I was a viva driver (manual variant, highest spec) for the past 11 years which from 2007 to 2018. I jhst recently sold my viva.
I was among the first to purchase viva, my chasis number is less than 300.

I think i never had any dissatisfaction with viva. Just that sometimes i felt i was being cheated by perodua due to low quality plastic material used. Viva known having a cheap look of the low quality plastic material dashboard and interior. So, sometimes strange noise came from not sure where, probably rattling from those cheap plastics.

However, i never major problem with this car. This car never broke down in the middle of the road. For all the time, the car could not be started due to battery kong, which is wear and tear thing. Power window is also one common issue. But still it is wear and tear.

It is very petrol savvy. When it was new, full tank can bring me 500km ++. Now, after 11years, it somehow lost its efficiency and can go till 480km only.

I think you should just go for axia. Latest technology and better safety aspect.
