Bob,
Tell us about the race last night. Got any video clip ? Upload pls... Added on March 9, 2012, 8:21 am QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Mar 8 2012, 03:01 PM) some like cars that have powerful engine power on the straight. A sifu of GT5 speaks : some like cars that have nice handling to attack all the corners. some like cars that have easy-to-manage tyre consumption. for me, i prefer those cars with consistent lap time even u r not driving in the best racing line, more forgiving cars can let u have more choices in selecting racing line to fit ur offensive and defensive driving style. Very very true. That could be a very costly affair while looking for the right car. This post has been edited by kowkl: Mar 9 2012, 08:21 AM |

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Mar 9 2012, 09:48 AM) nop, just share my experience The worst mistaken that I find or experience is that when the car that we see always win race and we change to that car. Result = Sure Die. Most fast drivers already fine tune their car according the track, driving style and PP range. After driving and understanding the game more, now I know why they say the ultimate racing simulator. tonite race gonna to be more fun after last nite practice not sifu but learn something after last friday race with real sifu like Madnoren they all... i tried to use mr2 s/c that he used that nite and i found that it doesn't suit my driving style, i can't get consistent lap time. (i use Trial Mountain Circuit as a benchmark test track, how about u guys?) looking for a right car indeed a time costly affair, therefore we should join on9 race so that we will know wat possible cars are available in that p.p range. As for me, my favourite is Nurb. Track. I find this the most challenging track with ups and downs, S like turns, uneven road and the whole works. 1 mistake you make so bye bye. |

Guys,
Do you sometimes encounter yr ABS being reset to "0" when you change car ? Hate it when you have to exit to reset it. Is this a problem that came with the update ? |

QUOTE(dman @ Mar 10 2012, 01:03 AM) Evo,I think you should reconsider having the damage change to light and have the penalty on max because I was only on 2 race. 1st I kena hantam from the back and my rear wheel was damanged, so have to pit so out again. 2nd race again kena hamtam only after the 2nd corner this time even worse gearbox also koyak and that is the nurb track. Guys, If you feel that yr car is jumping, should consider stop playing instead of carrying on and wack other cars. This is just my feedback but up to Bro Evo to consider oni. QUOTE(Naoki84 @ May 22 2012, 03:27 PM) Finally, They have fixed the car sound. That will help a lot when we start to tail others closely and don't hear our own car sound. Not knowing when to change gear will be a problem. Hope to race with you guys soon. |

QUOTE(jacsoo @ Jun 6 2012, 10:55 AM) It's not about being hardcore but a sense of satisfaction when you get gold. If I'm a newbiew, I don't think I'll joint and race in the Nissan Academy coz it's boring like driving school. If it's the gold that matters most like some of us here (including myself) then different. Now I'm planning to beat other drivers and being more than 18k drivers beating you it's not ok. Just my opinion. |

QUOTE(Invince_Z @ Jun 6 2012, 08:44 PM) yeah, gold is satisfaction...but aiming to be in top 250 is what is hardcore is all about. so hard getting there. If want to be top 250 i guess have to grind it hours upon hours to get there. Not sure if got that kind of time to spend. Maybe should aim to be there. I agree that driving that academy helps to improve our driving skills. I normally go to practice mode when I've not been on the wheels for more than 1 week and can see how rusty are my driving skills. I just wonder how many hours do the F1 drivers spend on their simulator between races mind blowing. imo, for newbie, GT academy is good for them. it's like a lesson for them to own in GT5. really good, in fact my driving a lot smoother now compared to before GT academy. QUOTE(jacsoo @ Jun 7 2012, 05:32 PM) Is the grand finals in Sepang ?Added on June 7, 2012, 6:52 pm QUOTE(Silenced @ Jun 7 2012, 03:50 PM) At one time I though I'm the only one having this problem but now I know I'm not the only one. I think it's problem between streamyx and unify. Very frustrating one.Added on June 7, 2012, 6:58 pm QUOTE(zerigemok @ Jun 7 2012, 10:50 AM) Ranking is all relative..when new rounds are out, i normally do ~2 hours to complete the 2 rounds, then next day another hour, then next day another hour. After that i dont play at all unless someone from my friends list beat my time massively. You don't have to grind at all, just watch replay of the top guys and see how they do it. Follow their ghost can see the fast line already. Bro,What is your nick, need to add you as friend then can see your time and try to match. More incentive for me to be better in my driving. Sometime I can't even beat the time i've set before so just off and watch astro. thanks for the tip. This post has been edited by kowkl: Jun 7 2012, 06:58 PM |

evo,
How many hours do you spend on GT5 weekly ? I've been busy lately and my driving skills suck when I was racing last 2 days. How many different types of car have you mastered ? newbie and learning. |
