In the end, what I'm saying is I wished Kaz has been allowed to complete his vision instead of this "compromise" we call GT5.

QUOTE(jacsoo @ May 13 2012, 09:12 PM) Game like GT will never have complete version, GT5 so far is the best in the series, career mode ? It is the same... I play GT-GT5... For me GT2 is still the bestIf keep delay the game, PD will close up b4 the game complete... Please focus on main details (driving) instead of fancy details then u will appreciate it more... This game worth more than RM150... Feel the passion of the developer pls... Added on May 13, 2012, 10:01 pm QUOTE(Invince_Z @ May 13 2012, 09:58 PM) i still don't get it which dlc to get since i didn't know which version of gt5 i own easy. picture of the globe on the game case. 1- US, 2-EU, 3- Asiato Silenced, gratz man. seriously, 3 laps race seems a little too short. i wish it is 3 laps x 2 or a full 5-7 laps. QUOTE(katnl @ May 13 2012, 10:12 PM) I wouldn't mind if it was just maybe an online game, where we create our own leagues and rules to replicate real life tournaments actually. In fact, I would much prefer GT to be just the platform, where we are provided the cars and tracks to do as we please. Instead of the half arsed career mode where it forces you to grind repeatedly with no joy to achieve level 40 or something. A driving RPG? Really? And let's not get started on Bspec. btw, can you share your GT gaming history? |

QUOTE(katnl @ May 13 2012, 10:30 PM) My first GT Proper was the one where you can race modify your cars, GT3 was it? The calsonic skyline, oh how I loved that car. You are on a wrong platform. Real rules and everything, you have to look at PC racing, especially iRacing, where they laser-scan tracks.Sometimes when I play GT I really wished to be immersed completely in it. With actual rules, and everything. A real simulator. Instead, I get robot Jeff Gordon lulz Racing games on console have to cater to casual gamers. Games that too hardcore on console dont sell well. for example Enthusia Racing. I'm sure you never heard of it right? Another example is the whole seasonal events was ruin when people complaints is to hard to win... hence PD has to tone it down. |

QUOTE(katnl @ May 13 2012, 10:50 PM) No PC. And I still want to believe in kazu's vision. This man brought the joy of automobiles to countless lives. when PD introduced seasonal events, the rules were very strict, you have to use certain cars, limited upgrades allowed and sport hard only (i still have the vids on my youtube channel). So you have to tweak the car and not just slap on racing soft. It was a HUGE achievement to won gold at that time. But many people complained that it was too hard, so PD tone down the difficulty (unlimited upgrades and no limit on tyres)You have a point about catering to the casuals. That is one of the reasons GT is currently so messed IMO. Instead of figuring out how to separate the 2, GT5 became a mix and match. Compromise, hence a pain to the purists. BTW, how do you mean tone down the seasonals? The AI is already dumb as it is. My only problem lies in the reward scheme, which rendered all other game modes irrelevant. |

QUOTE(Deswin @ May 17 2012, 11:13 AM) Its like this. Lets say you have 3 user accounts on PS3.A - US B - MY C - SG If you buy the DLC from US PSN store, only user A can use it. If you buy from MY PSN store, only user B can use it. In order for user C to use it, you have to download the family upgrade pack. |

To install the DLC on your main account, you have to install it in the DLC menu in the game, which, have to be connected to the net (online).

QUOTE(trunksku @ May 17 2012, 12:59 PM) Bro Evo, I think the tire should be restricted to Racing Hard only because that's the tournament rule in the Asian Finals. Please reconsider. thanks. If anyone wanna use racing hard, medium or soft its up to them. When did I said that this is a practice session for Asian Finals?Added on May 17, 2012, 2:06 pm QUOTE(zerigemok @ May 17 2012, 01:32 PM) I dont know much about jgtc but do they all have the same PPs?
