I went to update my passbook for ASW2020 for the first time after investing many many years ago. Anyone know why there's no dividend credited from 1999 to 2004 for ASW2020??

QUOTE(whyee @ May 6 2012, 04:27 PM) when dividend is reinvested, the following year should have an increased fund size. at least the announced dividend. unless... when some people cash out and the available units are then not sold out. maybe?? I guess so. This is why cheque was issued to us on the dividend payment in first few years when the fund was launched.

QUOTE(clement8115 @ Dec 5 2012, 12:04 AM) Dear all forummers, Based on the past postings, I did not know that I can try luck to Buy units in bank counters. I tried with CIMB, RHB AND MAYBANK ONLINE BANKING also cannot register. It says fully subscribed. If like that, have to Establish connection with bank ppl la so that I can top up. Min 6 percent per annum interest is damn good. Any forummers can share which bank can go top up easily? I'm interested to know too but I guess it's very much depended on the luck n timing as some said.

QUOTE(jacklew77 @ Dec 10 2012, 03:03 PM) If u are lucky, the teller will try few times for u. I did try in last week at maybank, the young malay teller pretend to key in something and tell me all finished. so bad. This morning, i went to cimb, the teller is good, try for me at rm5k, 3k 2k, 1k, at last only get rm500. I walked to the opposite maybank, told the teller that i wana try 2k, so lucky that i got rm2k at the first try. The teller told me that i m very lucky coz many people try cant even get rm100. Congrats.

QUOTE(adolph @ Mar 31 2013, 02:03 AM) 1282009, It doesn't matter which location to buy the remaining units, it don't have special allocation funds whether buy at counter or agents, the probability is exactly same, it only depend fully at the race fund quota. I am aware that the chances is the same. What I mean is besides MBB, where can we buy it? The reason is because MBB queue is very long even on normal weekdays.

QUOTE(adolph @ Mar 31 2013, 11:10 PM) 1282009, you can try our branch, RHB branch. besides that, you can try pos office and cimb bank, which they are also agents. tomorrow will be a long queue, because Amanah Saham Gemilang (ASG) and Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) will begin their operation such as update passbook and withdrawal of dividends. Thanks for the information.

Tried my luck the other day. No non-bumi unit is available for AS1M and ASW2020 when I checked but managed to top up RM500 for ASM. Quite surprise actually.
