agree.

Even the AS1M also like they not guarantee will maintain RM1 / unit , am i correct?
i'm not sure, but seems that the way they promote AS1M is different with ASW2020
*
they will probably maintain in $1 per units, only the return is not guarantee, but the true value for the fund may below on that average or more than that.
Just like they make an availability in switching fund between ASB and ASN.

ASN in the earliest year is a fixed price which capped at $1, but however later ASB in 1990 was announced which cause ASN is no longer fixed fund and price may up or down due to the movement of Net Asset Value (NAV). However, during that commencement period, they allowed on such as switching fund from ASN to ASB which is capped.

If you want higher return, of course ASW2020 is better since the charge is much lower, the debt ratio is yet, better than AS1Malaysia.

Today, government promote more unit trust investment, such as private retirement funds and Amanah Hartanah Bumiputra (AHB) but yet, all of these fixed fund normally only reserved for bumiputera.

Just want to ask, why PNB created amanah saham that give almost the same return with the same unit price of RM1, like ASD/ASM/AS1M and ASW2020. This 4 amanah saham return almost the same every year except for ASB which is only for Bumiputra.
So what’s the different and advantages among this 4 amanah saham. Sorry if this question already been brought up earlier.

These funds were launch at different time.
Like ASW2020 during Dr.M time and AS1M Najib time.
The portfolio is similar but different in weightage. ASD is meant for ASD thus no banking stocks in its portfolio which deemed haram in Islamic rules.

The ruling by the National Fatwa Council is harus:

http://www.e-fatwa.gov.my/fatwa-kebangsaan...dan-seumpamanya

Selangor is one of only 2-3 states to disagree. Moreover, PNB is working towards making all its funds fully syariah compliant (they're very close to compliance now) - IIRC the target date is about 2015.

It's year end time. Will there be many cashing out on their AS funds to spend and new buyers could buy more units?

I'm a little caught up with stuff to try luck at bank these time around, if anyone tried maybe can report to us whether you manage to purchase a lot or otherwise.. rclxms.gif If good condition, then I might consider make some adjustments to go and buy.

Your first reply after 1.5 years!

Are you sure? Where did you get this info from? For 2011 it was 7.65 + 1.15 = 8.80%. For 2012 only increase 0.2%? shocking.gif
