That is not true. ASD has been fully subscribed for a long time already.

Not sure, last week I went with a bumi, he went to top up and it successful.
Based on the report 2012, it only 4.229 billion out of 5.01 billions.
On last month, ASNB customer services do reply me an email, it not stated ASD is fully subscribed except other funds.

Then? you can google yourselves and find some bankers, do a simple comparison before step on it.
Based on your questions, It seem you're still in the field of doubtful about ASB loans.
Sorry, if i'm wrong.

People noticed a few months ago that the fund size for a few funds (ASD, ASW2020, ASM and even AS1M) all increased by several hundred millions of Ringgit. But many claim they did not actually increase the said funds size. Those are the dividends payout. Your friend probably got lucky that someone made a withdrawal from ASD, which is why he managed to deposit more money into his ASD account.

Anyway, i'll drop by a ASNB office later if i got time to see if i can open a ASD account biggrin.gif

If I did not recheck my slip, I think I will never be registered.

You successfully opened AS1M, since you're chinese?
Anyway, I do not really understand what method by adding "0" without any dash (-) sign.
Do you mean, the registration paper slip, you put infront?

Eg,

801520-12-7055
But in the registration, you put, "0801520127055" ? hmm.gif

Good! I don't know why they need that 0 in front tho. They should specify properly on the website how is the format they want, who could have thought the IC needs a 0 in front. And last time I messaged CIMB many times, they just reply standard message, say please refer to PNB, bla bla bla and all the addresses of PNB etc.

My IC is written by hand on the passbook on first page along with member name, membership no. etc. You don't have it? The top-up slip does have the IC number with 0, somewhere on the codes. There are quite a few lines of codes there, as with most transactions, some reference no.s, trace codes. etc.

Yes, i saw my slips with code "0" follow by my Identity Card number for my different funds.
thought some kind of computer generated code so I leave it, plus those tellers never mentioned about it. blink.gif
And just like yours, my passbook also hand written by bank tellers.

Dear all forummers,

Based on the past postings, I did not know that I can try luck to Buy units in bank counters. I tried with CIMB, RHB AND MAYBANK ONLINE BANKING also cannot register. It says fully subscribed.

If like that, have to Establish connection with bank ppl la so that I can top up.

Min 6 percent per annum interest is damn good.

Any forummers can share which bank can go top up easily?

0.4% of the investors owns 32% of the fund size.
or 10% of the investors own 76% of the fund size.

Affin Bank also offer ASNB online service. But limited to AS1M and ASB just as usual, like RHB and Maybank e-banking.

Affin is the latest addition to the banks serving as agents to ASNB. I believe they also offer the service at the counters. So besides, RHB, Maybank and CIMB, this is another bank to try. In addition, of course the PNB office itself and post offices.

Yes, the counter service is always there year-long. Your success to grab units depending on your timing, luck and also the helpfulness of the staff. Any backdoor or family connections you may have with bank personnel could also fast-track you a bit. That system which the bank use to check units on their counter is different from the one at their e-banking service. That system is the actual "Live" one. So anybody who completed cashing out units, the system should be able to grab units. But of course, nationwide, and so many people including the staff themselves checking the system every minute, any newly released units will be grabbed instantaneously. I strongly suggest ASNB to open up the Live top-up service for funds so labelled as "fully subscribed" to be made available to e-banking customers to try their luck as well. So far, CIMB e-banking can register the 'fully subscribed' funds but can never do any top-up. They claimed the system to be Live as well, but I seriously hold my doubts.

In further investigation, I have found that RHB online banking has note that mentions about padding zero in front of the membership ID for registering ASNB funds. For benefit of all, here's the screen cap:

If u are lucky, the teller will try few times for u. I did try in last week at maybank, the young malay teller pretend to key in something and tell me all finished. so bad. This morning, i went to cimb, the teller is good, try for me at rm5k, 3k 2k, 1k, at last only get rm500. I walked to the opposite maybank, told the teller that i wana try 2k, so lucky that i got rm2k at the first try. The teller told me that i m very lucky coz many people try cant even get rm100.
