Anybody tried to add ASNB funds (oher than the bumi-exclusive funds), onto Cimb's online banking service?
This is the only agent with Internet banking that allows those funds (ASW2020, ASM, etc) to be added. Maybank and Rhb only have the bumi-exclusive funds in their drop down list. I tried to add via Cimb many times, and it got rejected. I mean this is not topping up yet, it is just adding as a favorite so that only then you can try your luck to purchase online. But mine got rejected, I don't know why. (I have a valid membership for the funds already, with passbook, so just key in the membership ID and I/C to add it as fav.).

Yup, it will be processed after 1 working day.
I tried many times, always got rejected.
I key in membership ID as 0XXXXXXXX (9 digits),
my IC I have tried YYMMDD-XX-XXXX (with and without dashes).
Never accepted thru. I wrote to them and ask, they gave me a list of reasons from their FAQ, and asked me to refer directly to PNB to know the exact reason. 
Do share your result with us, whether successful.

Wow, thts good. I wonder if above is real time checking of the units or a pre-coded message until PNB launches another round of units selling. I hope it is real-time, maybe once a while we might get lucky and units become available as someone sellls?

(May I know hw is the format of your IDs which u typed in?

I did the first "Add Unit" from CIMB clicks this morning for my AS1M. See tomorrow got any good news or not. They charged RM1 for one transaction regardless successful. It is worth for trying rather than driving to the bank.....parking fee, petrol, time, some more need to carry cash.......

It works for AS1M. ASM not sure. Gonna try it out later.

If I withdraw from ASW2020 , can I reserve the units to my friend if she is to deposit during the withdrawal ?

real inflation rate is more than that. 10cent rise in a cup of teh tarik can easily be more than 6%

Selangor is one of only 2-3 states to disagree. Moreover, PNB is working towards making all its funds fully syariah compliant (they're very close to compliance now) - IIRC the target date is about 2015.

It's year end time. Will there be many cashing out on their AS funds to spend and new buyers could buy more units?

Yes long queue but surely worth the wait to see 22K in interest.

Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) announced today that Amanah Saham Nasional (ASM) unit trust investors will receive an income distribution of 6.5 sen for its financial year ended March 31, 2013.

In addition, investors will also receive a special distribution of 0.3 sen per unit as "a token of appreciation."

The total income distribution of 6.8 sen is higher than the 6.5 sen per unit paid out for 2012.

The payment will benefit 542,809 unit holders, who currently hold RM13.44 billion worth of ASM units.

Tried my luck the other day. No non-bumi unit is available for AS1M and ASW2020 when I checked but managed to top up RM500 for ASM. Quite surprise actually.

It is doable but with the condition that u must do it in kedah, kelantan and terengganu.
