Im going to open AS1M today

i have been a silent reader in this forum for last few months. managed to topup in AS1M last month around RM1250. this month only RM50. sigh....

btw i am non bumiputra.

thanks...my office is near to post office thus can afford to try frequently. but sometimes depend on the luck as well for chinese/indian quota.

Topping up from sales by existing holder. This applies to all funds, rite? For non-bumi, as far as I know, no offerings of new subscriptions.

have u guys ever thought of parking your funds in someone else's account?

get a trusted bumiputra fellow / friend. write up a contract. give him 0.5% earning. then u can top up as much as you want into his account.

i know a few of my non-bumi friends do that... i wondered why no one mentioned about this here?

park the fund under ASB. ASB declares 8+% dividend. u give 0.5% to 1.0% dividend to account holder and pocket the rest. it's still better return than ASM / ASW /AS1M

I am not comfortable too...

Once the money is parked in a ASB account, it is hard to consider it as my own money anymore..

And i have to pray for that guys' well-being.. Touch wood, if anything happen, i hardly can claim the money back..

i went to post office that day to pay some bills. i take first number and the staff say no units after checking. then shopping a bit come back try again. luck on my side. first attempt RM10 then got RM50 then the amount gets bigger. The highest one time attempt i manage to get is RM400. After that no cash available to topup anymore.

Well, i have less trouble in trying to top up in account in PM..

But when it comes to bank, the whole issue come out like:-
a) The Officer will tell me..'you have to wait because i have to entertain other clients also'
b) They show you their sorrow face when you are trying to deposit
c) I even received comments like.. 'Chinese very difficult to bank in, you still wanna try ar?'

Ai yo, so many excuses and issues.. I prefer PM la.. lol...

The main point is the banks don't want "layan" you, so how?

Nowadays still can use kopi o style? 4 years ago i invest asw2020 ,rm15-20k each transaction, i give rm100-150 to the post office guy.

Very ulu branch in sarawak. Not sure if they are still willing to do kopi o stuff or not. Will ask them next week since my asw2020 almost max.

Just got my salary, went to the nearest Maybank and invest hefty amount of moneh! 

Lol... nearly 4 digits. My plan is to invest today(just done it) and probably later next month (if got some balance left then would reach 4 digits).
