QUOTE(hooi_jd @ Mar 9 2012, 10:59 AM) the golder chinese algae eating still consider acceptable, if u get the chinese algae eater (yellow with black dots strip).. it would be a nightmare. i got both few years back when i first started my planted tank !!! it is so freaking hard to catch them. they swim so fast, and very clever in choosing hiding places. they ended up in some pond in Cyberjaya. lol ~ |

QUOTE(flipmode @ Mar 12 2012, 10:44 AM) how to compare T5 normal output and T5 high output? it is written on the tube itself. T5 or T5HO.forgot already is it watt/gallon or watt/liter... or you can compare the watt of the T5 by searching in google. you should use 3watt/gallon OR 1watt/liter. you can find the calculator in my website. |

QUOTE(maxtrix @ Mar 21 2012, 01:53 PM) where can i find cheap 36W and 55W PLL bulb? How much is the price? normal electrical shop. some sell it, some dont.can I use Philip 865 for my planted tank? or I need to use 10000k? if you are near by old klang road or jalan pasar then much easier to find. i heard a few shops there selling. but i not sure which one thou. light spectrum must be at least 6500k, anything lower than that is highly not recommended. |
