it seems to be eating algae from my tank's wall..so i dunno whether to throw it out or keep it inside my tank as algae control...



edit:- i counted 3 of them inside my tank..

should i throw them out? please advise!

oot:- went to one lfs today. never in my life, i saw so many planaria in one place. last time i saw a planaria was during sec school experiment. eee geli.. *shudders*

nope...somewhere near midvalley...from small size up till 6 cm long oo the planaria...still got the chill remembering it...*shudder*

is it bad to buy shrimp from planaria-infested tank? i saw those shrimps in EA midvalley feel so bad for them. how small can a planaria be?

i think if u take abit only it wont be an issue...unless u open a stone quarry la...lol...

btw has anybody saw zebra otto in malaysia before? n about otto rite, i read somewhere that it is beneficial to keep them in small shoal (security,cleaning effort etc). if like my 1.5ft tank, how much otto do u guys think i should keep? any advice cfu?

great sunday morning... ive just do a 30% WC on my tank... and out of 4 otos i bought 2 days ago, 2 manage to survive (up till now) whee....

btw can anybody identify this plant for me?

very hardy plant. ive bring it back from Sabah, I bought some fish from a LFS a few months back, n he give this plant FOC, didnt use it coz all the fish ive bought are for my pond, not aquarium, so i throw it away. but my mom, such a green finger of her, thought it was nice n put it in a pail filled with water. went back to my hometown last week, suprise suprise...the plant still survive ( grew alot of branches sumore) with just tap water in a pail, n the water ( which my mother claimed never change/top up, only using rain water) did not turn green. so i figure maybe i can use it as a sucker plant in my aquarium, since it was so hardy, n grew quite fast too. it is an alternative b4 i can find another plant for background plant in my aquarium.

peculiar with this plant is, it bends towards the current of the water. very strange.. hehe... ill post a clearer pict of the plants leaves later tomoro.

edit :- juz bought a leopard cory yesterday. today i regretted it. they really love to kacau my substrate

n abt java moss rite...i know that it is incompatible with seachem excel. but how about API CO2 booster? will it melts the java moss too?

upon further 'google'-ing, i confirmed that it is Hydrilla verticillata...damn...was hoping for egeria densa...if it is true as wikipedia say, ill be getting free antibiotic from BGA...hehe...

wat is that? dragonfly nymph? i know RES = red eared slider, but what about CSST?

got flicker or not? if got flicker, ur lamp is failing. no flicker, your ballast is failing.. heres's a website to troubleshoot fluorescent lamp problem

anybody know where to buy cheap driftwood in kl? EA at midvalley sell damn expensive oo...rm40 for small one only

edit :- demit...last night my cory swims up and down my tank's wall...today the cory settles down n now its my oto's turn to swim up and down my tank's wall..>_< is there something wrong with them?
