I'm using computer fan, 2 unit on my 2 ft, no noise at all... Use fan that don't rotate too fast, the faster they are, the more noise they produce. So I use slow rotating, but using 2 units to make up for the slow speed. 1 computer fan RM10 and 1 adapter RM15. My total cost RM35, been using for >2 years now.

Temp, 28-30c, if it rains come to down to 26c... My tank just beside my bed.

And just to add, if your not using external canister filters, but internal water pump, the heat generated from the pump will heat up the tank...

do you guys dose regularly? whats the schedule and products used?

my tank size : approx 200 liter of water

totto brand fertilizer (probably multi type) - twice a week (about 20ml, dosage is 5 ml per 40liter)
ADA potassium - every other day (about 5 squeezes)
seachem flourish trace - once a week (about 5ml)
got iron tabs in the roots already
using ADA soil + normal garden soil at bottom
re-scaped about 2 weeks back.
occasional iron liquid dose once a week if remember

remarks :
1)got some algae starting to grow on DW but still managable. got my plecos and prawns cleaning the glass n algae.. hehe
2) flora about 30% of tank and growing...
3) some fauna are about 1 year+ (angelfish x 6 and spawning very well especially after water changes)

any suggestion?

dosing is very subjective due to the tank size and qty of flora in ur tank. adjustment is always required to counter the algae types. higher light watts or intensity will require more nutrients. too much nutrients rich will also require good lighting so that your nutrients will not be food for the algae..

really need to do balancing acts with the fert + lighting + co2 also... headache...
