^ i boiled it till it become soft, maybe a few minutes in boiling water. why do you need to boil/blanched it?
i guess its for the timun to stop floating ...instead will submerge on the bottom, easier for the bottom dwellers to feast hehe.
i took it out after 2 days usually, but nowadays, i just left there, in 3 days, all clean thanks to the habitants inside the tanks lol

i think bro sisaiko have them...
my so-called driftwood(actually rotten wood lol) i got them near tepi jalan(MPSJ cut the trees), then chop of the busuk partition, then sand paper it and cut to my liking, dip in the sungai for a week(or the jamban water container). lol

@gorillaz_113, i boiled them in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, or till the outside are soft and they can sink in water~

@cute_miao, i dont, since i boiled them, they are soft, and after 1 day soaked in aquarium, they started to get mushy, and ottos dont care about them...
dunno if thats right..

^i got this tips from the 3 sifus here, ciohbu, weijie and sisaiko before lol..

btw, dunno bout you all, but i crushed my sinking pallets into tiny dust form and rub rub and stuffed it inside the blanched timun..
took me a week till the otto starts to eat sinking pallets biggrin.gif
so now i just feed my ottos and other herbivours/omnivours boiled cucumber/zuccini , boiled lettuce and sinking pallets in repetitive order lol
nod.gif save me alot of money then buying those lfs branded foods and its more natural this way, i guess tongue.gif
