Just connect and start using la. I've never hear that we need to do anything to it before we start using.

Just be very careful when you connect or disconnect it from the air hose, thats when most of us broke ours...

wat is that? dragonfly nymph? i know RES = red eared slider, but what about CSST?

My water ph is ard 7 to 6.5 n kh should ard 0 to 1. Water temp ard 26 to 29

Watever shrimp I put will jump out.

check ur GH too, kh not that important for shrimp

how long u cycle ur tank ?

try check if either bulb spoil or ballast.
all bulb is off or just one only? where you brought it? just take back and ask replacement unit?

got flicker or not? if got flicker, ur lamp is failing. no flicker, your ballast is failing.. heres's a website to troubleshoot fluorescent lamp problem

donno what spoil..suspect ballast bcoz both of the bulb cannot turn on..tonite will go back to NA.

both not turning on? maybe the main power plug wiring loose. hehehe.
quite small chances both ballast or bulb burnt at the same time.
