Can a tank withstand the water weight without any polystyrene below it? For my 1ft tank, I put a cloth underneath it. Advise please

do we have in market led for 2ft but only got white bright led.
ive seen there only white mix with blue led.
any one knows?plan to buy one for low light planted tank.

IMHO, LED light set does not emit full spectrum of light.
if you compare white florescent and white LED, color of plants with white florescent turns out to be more natural.
That is one of the reason why normally blue LED is added light set.still, i would suggest to use back T5HO since it is much more easy to replace faulty parts and cheaper price.

I know not much, so I always thought LED is better for the tank

use some 3M scrotch brite to slowly scratch it away... not too hard as it will scratch the glass... it works for me

JUST USE RAZOR BLADE.scratch the calcium.done. works for me.

Thanks for the advise, but no where do I know how to determine which should I get.. It will be for a 2.5ft tank (100litre~) for a 100litre tank, how much should the filter be pumping per hour? I assume 1litre per hour for each litre the tank holds?

I want to ask if I want to setup a planted nano tank, what kind of filter should it use, Eheim Liberty?

+1 , if given HOB or canister, I would prefer canister anytime. you can store the canister elsewhere and more space on top of the tank for other things.
