I couldn't find this from the news, but I did find a statement: He had been acquiring these parcels of land and investment properties for the last 20 years.

this is a normal business methods of this ppl......his brother....built Time Square with his own fund.....then sell back to his public-listed company....making tremendous profit and at the same time.....the best part.....still control it.

so...don't worry about any property recession in the picture........this is about smart business move !!

see how the investors response to it share, down 14cents to RM1.53 as at 11:44am

if one views it from +ve side; i remembered i came across an article claiming by him that he's planning to boost the company's market capitalisation to over RM3b in next three yrs

from -ve, is just nature in the business / richman world, is just a game fooling all minority investors as they are not aware of the quality of the properties

Dijaya gotta make cash call and take on debts for this purpose.

Also no indication of expected returns from this investment, not communicated enough to the market of his plans leh, no wonder share price drop ...

you guys are really serious....well these guys are tycoon and not small peanut like most of us.....it is very common for them to buy and sell and transfer.

When Warren Buffet purchasing Citibank at USD30+ (when it was sliding down from USD50+)....can we say that we should also buy? in fact, the price drop further to lowest level of about USD1 eventually. Now, after 10 to 1 and price increase, it only shoot back to USD20-30.

Just based on needs loh, dont have to follow goreng like that.
