AOC injury is the cause to our poor 2nd half. Sigh, the midfield control totally lost after he injured his hamstring early in the 2nd half.

Arshavin would arguably be a better sub choice here but too bad he is not here
Time to sleep, a brave fight by Arsenal but the 1st leg made the differences |

sigh as much as a glorious lost, we should have won the game if we keep the same play as the 1st half. AOC injury really could be the key here. Once he was sub out, it is only a 2 man midfield team. RvP wasn't even sure where should he be playing after Chamakh was in.
1 thing about AOC in midfield is the 2 in 1 package he brought in. He could just switch to the winger area for a moment to give defender a run and it brought success with the penalty. U can see Milan player totally out paced by him. If only Wilshere or Arteta was fit, i wonder will this be an even more magical moment. |

V.persie new was never confirmed in the first place. And to be honest, i think if he would leave, it will be for another non-English club rather than one that have to face Arsenal.
But Podolski, 26 only that's gonna be our big asset next season. Looks like we are having our German revolution already compare to the previous French and Spanish revolution |

Scoring goals is a motivation itself. It's just a different kind of captain-nizing for Arsenal. Nuff said

Not Gunner happen: Podolski turns down mega move to Russia to sign for Arsenal
Lukas Podolski has snubbed a £40million offer from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in favour of a move to the Premier League with Arsenal. Arsene Wenger’s side agreed a £10.9m deal with Cologne for the German international and the striker looks set to put pen to paper on a four-year contract at the Emirates worth £100,000-a-week. And it has emerged that the striker could have earned double that if had opted for a move to Russia as Anzhi were prepared to pay Podolski £40m over four years – £200,000 a week – to snub the Gunners. I'm Gunner join Arsenal: Lukas Podolski turned down a big money move to Anzhi Makhachkala Podolski was adamant that football and not money would dictate his decision on his future. Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has been selling the club to his Germany team-mate by text message. And it is understood Podolski set his heart on trying out the Premier League and working with Arsenal boss Wenger. Keen to strengthen: Anzhi Makhachkala, coached by Guus Hiddink, were keen on the German international Podolski said: ‘Money is not the most important thing for me. What is crucial is the development of my game.’ He impressed Wenger in Cologne’s pre-season friendly against the Gunners last summer and the Frenchman has sent chief scout Steve Rowley on a number of missions to watch him ever since. Podolski has scored 16 goals in 22 club games this season and netted three times to help Germany qualify for Euro 2012. In fine form: Podolski has been in good goalscoring form for Cologne And Germany coach Joachim Low has backed Podolski to be a success in England. He said: ‘Four or five years ago I would have told Lukas that it was better for him to stay in Germany. Today the situation is different. Lukas has become more mature, he can take the step abroad now more easily.’ Read more: daily mail.co.uk Is this true |

Arshavin did mention he would love to stay at Arsenal again after loan spell end since his family already here
No matter how bad is Arshavin form, he is still good imo. Or at least he gives us 6 points this season itself at least with Swansea goal and cross for Henry to score against Sunderland. I still have high hopes for him. He makes the bench squad looks stronger somehow |

Same can be said about Gervinho then now. Drop kinda further behind, and possibly even behind Benayoun now.
Too many inconsistent player in our team. And no guarantee new player adapt well to the team too. |
