Always have this gut feeling that Arsenal will lose when Ramsey is playing. Our good form only came when Ramsey was injured

By the way, is there a difference between buying the kit from Al-Ikhsan and buying the kit right from the official site?

The second penalty was a soft one but I thought Barcelona was a better side yesterday but they couldn't capitalize on the chances they had... They were way too many moments that the goal was left vulnerable but they just couldn't nail them, while AC Milan on the other hand barely challenged Victor Valdes

Actually I thought Yossi's performance is just average, despite the perfect sliding tackle he did in second half, his job as a winger to feed striker isn't that amazing and his passes don't seem to go through. Rosicky was a much better player imo.

If Podolski deal goes through, I'd like to see the front three of Po/RvP/Ox. I don't know about Walcott but I don't think he really work that well in that position... He seems to waste possessions that Sagna earns him all the time when he's defended by a solid left-back he could not perform much. True there are moments of brilliance but I no longer know whether it's him being inconsistent or it's just his game depends heavily on the left-back he's facing. His style is just way too predictable, rush down the right flank and try to pass the ball to RvP to score. He doesn't seem to have sufficient ball dribbling/controlling skill to penetrate through defenders and all he could do is pass/cross.
I'm quite satisfied with the midfield trio of Rosicky/Arteta/Song now. Can't believe that Rosicky can regain his form and not suffer injury for so long. There's a big difference watching him play in the early season and now... To be fair, he didn't do anything wrong in earlier on but he didn't contribute much at the same time too. Somehow there's just some sudden transformation and now watching him play beautiful through passes and taking long shot is such a joyful experience. Arteta is pretty good too. He holds the ball well and he's good at free kicks and long shots. Didn't do anything wrong so far. Song as defensive midfielder is very solid and he's strong physically, able to stay fit longer than other players and even sustained some career ending tackle by Mario without taking much damage, scary man No problem with back four but I think left back needs some attention. Gibbs positioning is woeful and Santos just seems too aggressive for our already poor defense. |
