my man,

logically speaking, gouty arthritis happen due to deposition of urate crystals in connective tissue, which commonly occur among those who have abnormal uric acid metabolism which causes elevated plasma uric acid levels (hyperuricemia).

by right, you should consider fixing your uric acid level. the best approach for gout is reduce inflammation, pain and manage your uric acid level.

glucosamine is not a treatment, it is a supplement for osteoarthritis. the fact that glucosamine is seafood origin may cause increased level of uric acid in your blood shows that why you are not responding positively.

i can suggest few range of drugs and supplements for gouty arthritis, but you better get yourself checked to rule out other factors first. talk to your physician.
