Here you can discuss football finances. http://www.stadiumzone.weebly.comhas all football clubs with a revenue above 10 million euros, but no Malaysian clubs seem to have such a revenue unfortunately. Good to see Barca doing well But shouldn't Manchester City FC be much higher? And what about the doubts of Real Madrid?

I don't see why City should be higher up the list. They are cash rich but that doesn't translate to revenue. What have they done commercially? They don't yet have a sizable fanbase to tap on. Revenue comes from many sources and having a global fanbase helps generate TV revenue, and sales from merchandise. How many people do you see with Man City jerseys walking around or car stickers? This is why they will be in trouble when financial FairPlay comes into effect. A club cannot spend more than it earns.
Barca and Real Madrid has always been at the top. They sell more jerseys than any other club in the world. Gives you some idea of how massive a fanbase they have.

i think jersey just bring a pinch of whats being generated by serie a, la liga clubs.
its the tv money deal thats bringing in the bacon.unlike england each club have their own price tag, wch sadly brings a bit unbalance to the smaller sides.
but, advantage still to english financial system in football since at least it ensures even the minnows can survive and prosper in today's money spinning world.every one have their share instead of just the bigger sides like in la liga or serie a' whom are running away but the smaller ones going further the deep end.

I agree but it's relevant. Selling heaps of jerseys gives us an idea of how many fans a club has which equates to how many fans will watch their games. Aren't the rights for broadcasting EPL matches held by Sky? I'm not sure how it works but I recall it's the reason why EPL big boys want to negotiate their own broadcast packages. Here's a link to provides more insight into a club's revenue source. http://www.deloitte.com/view/en_GB/uk/indu...0001b56f00aRCRD
