With all the major World of Warcraft news for Mists of Pandaria hush-hush until the the Press Tour next month, what better time to stir up some trouble. During BlizzCon 2011, while showcasing the new styles of battlegrounds to come in MoP, we finally caught a glimpse of what might become of Azshara Crater. This previously removed battleground map, that is only accessible on private servers, might be making a triumphant return as a DOTA styled Battleground. With Guild Wars 2 drastically stepping up the large scale PvP with World v. World, there just might be a place for epic, hour long battles after all. While Blizzard will hold the final say if this makes it into launch (where is my dance studio?!) it’s always fun to theorize on what this potentially might play like and the issues it might run into.
