It's about the safety of motorcycle riders.. I may be what u call as slowpoke but hey.. I'm just sharing cos I think us human always need a reminder.. after all.. we are human~

I find that the advert was funny and yet informative cos we usually treat motorcyclist just as bike without thinking there is actually a biker on it...

usually this can be proved when we are mad at them.. "Ish! motor ni.. **** betul.."

so.. lets just take a moment and re-think about it.. we can make a different..

i will say something straight to the point to all motorist on behalf of all drivers..

if your bike don hav proper light.. don ride it out at night..
if you wear dark clothing.. don ride ur bike out at night.. (worse if u don even wear a helmet)
if you wanna drive like superman.. drive it at home..
if you wanna drive like snake.. drive it in ur dream.. or video game..

and yea.. drive it at the proper lane and don block the whole f*ckin lane!!

We drivers do care about motorists and we drive safely (althou some are reckless and hopeless).. we do not want to involve in accidents (especially with motorists which usually may cause serious injuries)..

So dear all motorist, please take care of ur safety, think and ride properly before asking (or blaming) drivers for knocking you down!

if you manage to view the dash cam posted on fb..

you will notice on the left side, where a kapchai speed past the tanker frm the inside to overtake it.

now tht move is very dangerous bcos, the tanker is long, and the driver is having an issue with another kapcai in the front right. if the driver swerves to the left trying to avoid the front bike while the left bike is overtaking frm the inside..
chances of kena gilis is high...

As a regular user of Federal Highway, I agree with some of the contents of the news . It's dangerous when bikers go full speed in between cars during heavy traffic.
At the same time, the government should also speed up the repairs of the motorcycle lanes!

I prefer riding in the bike lanes compared to on the Federal Highway... But what to do?
It has been months (years? ) since the road works started and till now no conclusion.

Emergency lane on federal highway also cannot be used what. As drivers cutting queue here and there..

but as a sensible rider, I would only do lane splitting between most left lane and middle lane at most..not to the speed lane

As a rider, I will always try to overtake on the right of any vehicle.

lane splitting is necessary here in msia during jam,

but dont la go honk at drivers when the car oredi halfway across the dotted line..

or speed like mad when all cars are moving slow,

or go pancung the slower kapchai in front.. forcing them to jam brakes..

fed hiway bike lane, one of the dangerous maneuver of bikers towards bikers is

over taking slower bikers at those narrow corners...

at corners bikers already focus on the cornering watching out for holes,
slippery sections, and have no time to keep an eye on the rear or maintaining
the line to allow overtaking...

then came the fler over taking like in SIC...

my bro got into accident due to one fler try to overtake between him (going to exit on the right) and slow rider on the left.. some big bike summore..

We can think bike and think biker but it is those shithead riders that cannot be helped. Cos their heads are so full of shit already. They seem to think that KL is a lawless kampung. No need to stop at lights, no need helmets, no need to slowdown while lane splitting, no need to use indicators... and the list goes on and on. Oh, they do use the horn very often though!

The other day I was going to PJ from Old Klang Road. I had stopped at the traffic light and when the lane on my right stopped, it was my turn to go as my side turned green (I wanted to turn to the right at the junction) but the motorcyclists from the opposite lane, there were 2 of them just charged on. I rode on and honked, forcing one of them to stop via emergency brake. I stopped, stared at the bugger and went on. After that he just shot off! And his side was still red! It was my right of way, my side was green while his was red...what was he thinking? Or he doesn't think? For these, to me, it doesn't matter if they have a family, it doesn't matter if they have parents waiting for them, it doesn't matter if they are a sole breadwinner...their attitude negates all care and sympathy for them should anything happen.

So, is he stupid or what? So, just because he rides a lower cc bike, he doesn't need to obey rules? Why do these people keep doing these things that give us other bikers a bad name?

Like I said before, they treat the city like a kampung and sad to say, there is just too much shit in them that they cannot be taught or helped anymore.

I was baffled by the samsengness of one guy riding a BMW GS..the big one! i think maybe f800gs

you know the exit from NKVE to Subang toll? I was riding try to get from the exit lane (from shah alam) to the motorcycle lane on the other end of the toll booth..while carefully signalling to cars..suddenly this guy zipped right in front of me and I was forced to emergency brake..luckily the car behind is not so closed..

fucking rempit..while riding with the offroad style..you know, standing on the bike..fuck him

Some bikers think.. the bigger the bike they think owned the road since in their mind saying by paying 350 RM road tax has all the right of way..

Agreed with you. Here's my theory: those are rempits who got rich.

I don't deny there are superbikers who ride like rempits too. Maybe their background can tell why they behave like this

Correct. I have seen Can-Am Spyder getting stuck in the motorcycle lane before.

The actuall lorong motor in fed highway still conside OK ... before they did all the stupid alteration and construction like now i can do run using HD Electra Glide from Klang all the way to midvalley, just need some skill to manouver between kapchais.....

But now.. when they do everlasting construction and some part they diver the traffic and put stupid barrier, even kapchai finds it very hard to go through it..

a biker should alway assume tht cars will do this kinda &@_$*
so one way to avoid is to switch to the left most lane, or slow down.

guys, im commute using kapchai for a mere month now. using federal from klang to KL. I noticed that after a corner passing to subang, no one using the bike lane anymore going towards KL. i notice some lane hole patch at the bike lane, i do notice a few closing here and there. But why bikers did'nt use that lane ya? ya, i myself using the normal lane, its heard mentality here. LOL

Maybe I'll try the bike lane...just for the fun of it...in daytime of course

bike lane all the way to mid valley is under construction here and there, if u go in, you are forced to go out again a few times. very troublesome,

so they rather just one shot use the fed hiway ignoring the bike lanes, until it is fully 'done' up.. which is dono until when.

cos now they are building a new highway ( forgot name ) all the way to pantai there. so very messy now, for a few years ....

Temporarily it's legal to ride on Federal Highway. It's on newspaper some time ago. This is due to too many stretch under constructions.

I avoided few choke point traffic jam prone area within fed highway by using bike lane, however due to some infinite constructions on going sacrificing the bike lane... I rather go fight with cars and other road users on the Fed Highway

ok then, it do answer my doubt. but will try later where exactly the in and out after subang uoa there

i have now abandoned using federal altogether. NKVE all the way to damansara and masuk KL via jalan parlimen. no bike lanes all the way.

but then again, it is still jam all the way isnt?
