Why not consider the Orando Project : Vila Vista, just nearby, better location & walking distance to MRT? Only drawback is only leasehold.

the LIDO sales office is just next to the site & showroom of Vila Vista.

yal... please check the night market at the main access road before plunging in my advise....
the market is terrible with all the car double triple park as if they own the bloody road! mad.gif

I use that road too, during pasar malam, they have RELA member to control the traffic & I believe the condition is not that bad. Yea, many cars double park but traffic flow is manageable. Look at Connaught & Midah Pasar malam, the drivers too all like to simply park like their bloody road too! Many Malaysian drivers are selfish & plain ignorant.

Totally different story. you couldnt compare like that

Tmn connaught PM:
3 lanes with no u turn or traffic lights. most of the cars on right lane will not stop the car and keep moving ahead.
those double park is on the emergency lane. and it wont make the road jam tho, unless for those want to turn into PM area.
i nvr stuck on the 3rd lane tho. to be hornest.
Jalan Yakoblattif, in from of SMK Jln cheras :
its only 2 lane, with traffic lights and its T junction.
those cars park at the road side, and tis not emergency lane, there is no way to parking the car, but they still park from the round about area( believe me, try go visit on weekend )
till to the SMK technic road side.

no matter u came from Bandar Tun Razak, it will Jam. coz only 1 lane left. ( its my personal experience which i live that area for 20yrs for god sake.....)
and if you came from The round about, its stuck on be4 the PM area, traffic light is usless due to all cars is blocking the way.

my personal experience, ive spend 15mins for stuck on that U-turn traffic lights.
The reason is simple, both side car coming too much and only 1 lane left. and the car is not keep moving becoz of some cars need to WAIT PARKING and just stay on the road.

ive even saw a worst, there is an AMBULANCE car that cannot get thru it. for almost 15mins. ( coz im just behind the ambulance car, tats why i noe )
Beside above,
im wonder there is sufficient area for 2 bloody 27+ floors codors can build there. and im really interested to see hows the traffic will going soon.
( and im glad that the construction coming soon will making the PM area more dusty !!! YEAH !! and hope the Lories will crush on those double parking cars on that area)

Dear Jillybean,

wow, very detail on the traffic condition analysis LOL...I know how you feel, especially Saturday, you have one pasar malam in Tun Razak, one in Taman Midah, sometimes really annoying to be stuck in the traffic. Maybe it will be worse when the few apartment blocks behind the BHP station are completed, you can expect more traffic.

But I don't think they will carry out the construction work at night, so chances of the lorries crushing those double parked car will not be that high i guess hahahaha.

The location is very strategic I must say, minus the few days where you have pasar malam, the rest of the days, coming back from KL centre to this place will be very much less stressful.

Anyway, I never really study this project, not sure where is the entrance of this LIDO condo located? is it in front of the secondary school?

Looking at their website aerial view, the plot of land is really small, couldn't imagine they can build a condo there.

I think there is also a surau there & you can hear the sembahyang right? correct me if i am wrong.

Hi buddy,

No doubt the "Location" is very good since its just less than 1min u can reach Jalan Loke Yew hiway, ( i got a double link in mahkota sektion 5, but i wont move in there....)
I stay in Tmn Pertama, i spend like 10mins to Pavillion @saturday night usually without jam.

as we know, where we will not jam in Wilayah/Selangor now a days rite, thats why i still think its very good location. but the surrounded issue we couldnt under estimate it.
its not like small small issue, when you stay for long term.....u will start hate the location there.

unless the Pasar malam will shut down, or it wont solve the most serious problem.

as u said,
Maybe it will be worse when the  few apartment blocks behind the BHP station are completed, you can expect more traffic.
↑this one i dint count in to my analysis tho lol
about the enterance, i think the LIDO will do like the town house there, its facing to the school i think,
coz it will be worst scenerio if the build the entrance facing to the Pasar malam !
all cars will not moving for 100% during pasar malam time. ( Car in/out, sometimes visitor stuck at entrance, que...making road jam )
About the Surau, i think NO ? nvr seen got one there ?
the plot of land is really small, couldn't imagine they can build a condo there.
↑Ya, u should try visit the site, i really dunno how they can build it. thats im kind interested to know lol
its like a "Triangle" pizza slice size, from what i can see now, its like not making any sense could build a condor there......
If there is no Daily Pasar malam there, it will be great idea to get 1 unit.
but since the Daily PM is "Bandaraya" issue and most of the stalls is Malays owner......i doubt it will be shut down.

Hi Bro,

no wonder you very familiar at this area, my parents are staying at Tmn Pertama too biggrin.gif too bad the price in Tmn Pertama not moving much due to leasehold & remaining 60 yrs plus I guess. With few more condo project coming up in this area & the MRT in the next few years, Just could not imagine how the traffic will be. Used to be very quiet & peaceful here but for the past few years, this area has been getting more crowded.

I think I would prefer Villa Vista over LIDO, but due to bigger build up & steep price, not really confident this investment would generate positive return.

I did remember few times at my parents house, I could hear the evening prayer coming over from the Stadium Velodrome, & there is a surau there too.

anyway, for those invested, they must have consider all the points already. Good luck!
