I asked EA before about cam shaft. Not for auto cars. One auto PE tried installing it, can't idle. Unless they come out with milder cams, I suppose.

I've been using my own engine oil since 5k KMs till now (close to 40k KMS), never had any issue whatsoever. U say leh?

I never bothered to make any appointment before going. Waste time. Just do a walk in. Go there early in the morning (7.45AM open, usually I reach ard 7.15-7.30) and be one of the first few.

In general Sin Siang Hin sucks ma. I dont blame u for not knowing, but we've already discussed this I think about 10 threads back or so. Just try any Sin Siang Hin u know, and watch how they whack ur car.

Let them recommend lar.. We tell based on experience mah. Not to mention I got chased out before by SSH gombak. Went there that time cos I duno anything, wanted to make warranty claim. They literally walked me out from the counter to outside the reception office. Wth?

Why not suitable to join us?

It's entirely up to u, really, whether to use semi or fully. People usually use semi for the first 10k KMs to save, because it is 'rumored' that the fully can last for 10k KMs, so it's a bit wasting to use it for only 5k KMs then change again. Anyway, if u get semi it's around RM 75 (Magnatec) to RM 103 (retail price/SC price). The CUSCO is only RM 145. And at 5w-40 it's pretty much the same viscosity as most of the semi in market now.

It's up to u which oil u wanna use, but my personal recommendation for now, in order of preference, is Cusco, Havoline Fully, Edge, Magnatec & (these two are equal in preference, but Havoline semi is much more expensive than Magnatec, thats why magnatec came first) Havoline Semi.
