it is not recommend to run fuel tank dry it really will shorten the fuel pump life span, but all member here just wanna try their best fuel consumption, because every member getting different FC.
*
If wanna measure FC:

pump full tank -> reset tripmeter -> drive till 1/2 or 1/3 tank -> pump full tank again (preferable same station and same pump) -> measure FC using amount of fuel pumped and the tripmeter figure.

No need to run til blink la.

Friend of mine, owns a PE as well, advise me not to use our own lube during service rather than using their own (petronas/shell) , because of warranty issue in future if anything happen to engine (touch wood), those foreman will claim that i've use my own lube therefore i can't claim warranty from them..

Sifus please comment

that reading can reset one....(happy.gif i reset everytime refuel)

as for the lube...kinda true...i been to Serdang SC, if u use own oil, they will state at the Service book saying u using other oil. If anything happen to your car engine and need to claim, then is argument between u and the SC.
