OK, just to update. After upcar & your comment, I stored the wine inside my fridge till Yesterday when I atlast bought a gooding cork opener. Yes liao.. that cork patah & crumbled inside the wine.. sad.gif cry.gif ...Thereafter me korek wth chopstick & luckily managed to take out that cork. The remaining of the cork pieces..me using filter nia when I pour to the glass blush.gif

The best... yeah... that 2001 wine..tasted so nice.. much better than those I tasted so far...no kerosene or vinegar smell.. just fruity, dry & not sweet feeling... gooding for sure rclxms.gif ...So who say keeping for years no good biggrin.gif ..well except for the cork...

Oh BTW, it;s not french wine.. it's Australian. blush.gif

As others said.. Not the years but how you keep it.

If you dun keep it chill ~ 10-13C and dun tilt the bottle wth the wine touching the cork, no hope liao
