http://www.propwall.my/ara_damansara/platinum_damansaraQUOTE As of February 2011, a message was forwarded to buyers on behalf of the developing company regarding their initiative to revive the above abandoned project. They claim that they would attach an advertisement of the property up on STAR newspaper.

However, buyers were required to submit a number of documents, however there was a poor response, up to 100 buyers instead of the expected 600 buyers. It seems that yet another initiative taken by the developer has proved to be futile. To date, Platinum Damansara still remains abandoned and no progress have been witnessed.

QUOTE(aladdin88 @ Mar 6 2012, 08:56 AM) from what my uncle told me. The developer is his friend, the project abandoned is because of his partner set him up. Meanwhile they are still in a court case, partner still sabotaging him. The owner will continue with the project after court case settled. And i'm most probably getting 1 free . The place is not bad with all the bunglows , semi-d's, luxury condo. Easy excess to PJ, Subang, KL How long is court case? I dont think it will be soon...

QUOTE(puchongite @ Mar 6 2012, 10:09 AM) Anyone has examples of revived projects and after the projects have been resumed and all the residents are staying comfortably without worry about the quality of the building ? Same like Boulevard Residence @ Damansara by Ong Chong, previous know as Vista Damansara was abandoned for more than 5 years by Antara Vista and now they are reinventing back the old building and sell up to RM600k+ and sold out I think... people tend to be forgetful This post has been edited by M2K2Land: Mar 6 2012, 11:08 AM

QUOTE(katijar @ Mar 23 2012, 02:04 PM) is there any special insurance to protect property buyers from abandoned project? I dont think this is any... either you buy from a good developer (big big 1) or sub sales will be the safer way~

QUOTE “Each buyer pays an average of RM50 per day in interest and there are so many stories of civil servants losing their jobs, businessmen being blacklisted and pensioners who invested now left without a home,” he added.
