Great to hear that this project will be revived. Big eye sore for nearby residents and heart ache for investors.

Not that easy to revive as it involve lots of legal issue and some of the purchasers are foreigners.
I believed many has since defaulted the bank loans and it makes the case more complicated.
Good thing is market price at the moment shall be more than RM700psf in comparable with the recent few launching.

Anyone who stays nearby can confirm the revival of the project ?
Any heavy machinery brought in and start working again ?

I think the project is surely going to move on (at least from the 'new developer's perspective). The 'new developer' have already engaged a consultant to do a "Traffic Impact Assessment" for the property and also the new technical drawings has already been approved by MBPJ as of (17 Jan 2013)... Now is just the formalization from the High Court to pass on some resolution. After which the 'new developer' will need to go though some legal barriers to get the project up... Hopefully this will give the buyer a glimpse of hope...

Yes the name of the new developer is public info...128 Ara Damansara Sdn. Bhd. Not too sure about the previous project that they have done, seems like this company is setup for the purpose of taking over this project... Maybe someone with insider knowledge can shed some light on this...

a lots of developer will set up 'SPC'- Special purpose vehicle for each individual project so that the risk can be mitigate, if 1 project got problem, cannot affect another project.

The process will be troublesome. In this case, I guess the price will be pushed up to about 750psf considering the legal cost and others. ..

yes jssl. I saw that too.. A few lorries are also clearing off the place, fence taken down and rubbish is being cleared.

Passed by yday evening as well ... was thinking abandoned for so long, dunno whether got any extra "visitors" - pity those buyers previously

if revive, it will be a closure for the previous buyers.

Apparently a court order was obtained on 17.10.2013 for 123 Ara Damansara Sdn Bhd to take over the project and revive it.

What will happen to the buyer of Platinum Damansara then?

went to the launch before, soooo many ppl. thought of buying 2 units. luckily i pass, grab 2 boxes of KFC instead then left.
