hi everyone.. i just bought a new LC 5 speed.. i just wonder, does engine hard break-in really works for LC? any precautions for doing it? such as change engine oil after 500km or anything...

of course.. like me, i dont lenjan until cannot go one.. i oni make it 3rd gear on 60km/h and 4th gear until 80 or sometimes 90.. and 5th gear just to maintain the speed...

is that considered lenjan?

hi guys, do any of u own LC v2 the 5 speed ones? any of you managed to increase the top speed, or acceleration without major mod? hmm.gif

i tried to look around but couldnt really find about it... hope sifu's here can help notworthy.gif

I'm using lc 5 speed...
yesterday I adjust the position of my TPS, pickup increase a little bit, top speed duduk biasa sama, 105km/h, but throttle a little less...
so hopefully save a bit more fuel.. tongue.gif

planning to change to racing air filter, something like k&n and spark plug G-power... any comments?

u should get increase in engine output, so if you remain ur sprocket settings, increase pickup,
if you reduce ur sprocket ratio, u increase top speed,
and that is only if you have properly tuned ur carb...
that is only my opinion... Hope sifu can correct it if it's wrong notworthy.gif

depends laa... since the TPS is manually set, i can guarantee that not all of the motorcycle have the same setting so u can try n error urself

my experience, forward too much, High temp light on at idle, so i back off the tps a little bit than no more light..
but for sure my tps setting now is a bit forward compared to the original setting of my bike...


ps: sifu2, i just changed to silkolene comp 4 15w-50=rm37 and g-power plugs,
since pantang dah abes, i lenjan kaw2.... then i can hear cdi limiting my rev on 3rd gear at 80...
i can hear at my exhaust that the ignition dont want to go more

should i try an aftermarket CDI?

i don't think you want to try.. its seriously too thin but it can withdstand very high temp...
the one that i can get at my workplace is BP2380

but lot of people use diesel engine oil=heavy duty engine oil... so far no complaints from them and they even get better top speed, less engine/clutch sound...
they use oil such as rimula 3x, mobil delvac mx, petro canada duronE/XL..
some of these oil even have JASO MA.. which basically meets the lubricant specification for 135LC

any comments?

ps: so eager to try but my EO still new.. tanak bazir
