I want a decent or good ice system! I'm getting my new myvi SE 1.5 soon

Please recommend me some before I got con by the audio shop! I'm not very hardcore but I just love music

New car must have high budget at least RM20K for Mcintosh..where you hear a guitar sound like guitar

then only it sounds analog, close to 'real' tonality = music with emotion

4k is about what i spent and is more than enough to have a complete set entry level ICE (with door panel sound proofing too)

10k can make guitar sound like piano also......lagi best...lolz

Not only budget, the owner's preference is very important too for choosing a suitable ICE set.

Giving some scenarios for reference:
1. Those who loves strong bass or pub music would place priority to the amplifier/woofer;
2. Those who prefer SQ would slowly upgrade the respective elements, starting from head unit player, speaker...
3. Those who has no specific reference would change whatever people says.
etc.

Just remember don't go to the wrong shop/person. If not just like me, paid 1.7k for a lesson -.-

let me try this...

since you not a hardcore ICE guy, but you love music,

start with a monoblock with a 10" sub in a custom box.

but here is the thing to consider. if you feel that you are going to upgrade the stock setup for the love of music, lay at least a 4awg power cables for the monoblock, long enough for future upgrades(depending on where you think you wan to install your equipment). and get a good pair of RCA as well...

this should start you off to understand how car audio works, and the installations/tuning process, which is very different from a home audio set and of course your head phones.

Remember : Always play with Mid Bass + High. Bass put it on moderate becoz later your sound like pecah. Tone of sound must clear at all range guitar, drum snare, highhat & vocal and the sound shud feels surround.

Your extra cash - better put aside to pay car instalment. No use putting ICE cost you $20,000 but car kena tarik

But ICE + sound produce must meet your prefences la.....

Cap ayam equipment can deliver best sound & tone if Tuner is good.
High end equipment can produce shit if Tuner not good. Such as putting modern rock song but turn out to be like joget song

i think he is referring to tuner experience/achievements.

but still.

hopefully bro, coz that setting honestly is super super duper low cost and achievable. 1400 is not even enough for professional soundproof honestly...even installation will fetch up to that price

Can new myVi se change the HU? that multimedia with GPS panel...wondering can change it...

Unless...many of the stuff are gotten FOC..but in total maybe cost around RM20k-RM30K.

Do you mean double din HU that contains GPS/bluetooth?
