My old PSU got surged hit & gotto get a new one.
What I've got in mind is something that would last me a long time.
It's to power up i7 980x & 3x GTX480
I'm abit greedy & only thinks that the higher would be better.
After considering I'm abit worried that too high would suck me up on my electrical bill.
At the same time those PSU have energy saving mode when it's not on full load.
This is the head cracking part. If not for the power sucking part I would have get the highest one.
Advice needed on this pls...
After a long research I've finally shortlisted the below 3.
Which one should I get
Seasonic P-1000 1000w (Platinum)
Seasonic X-1250 1250w (Gold)
Enermax MAXREVO EMR1500EGT 1500w (Gold)
1250w & 1500w would be a good one as I'm still not too sure that 1000w is sufficient for full load.
At the same time my Corsair HX-1000 got the job done. Just in time & died after the warranty period.
Guessed that I've push it to it's limit.
Between both brands that's rated as GOLD I thinks that Enermax would be the better one as It's just lessen by 1% to made to Platinum grade
Seasonic offers 7 years warranty & 5 years offered by Enermax.
The above 3 is at the same price range (RM1000.00-1100.00).
All is within budget...
