Just wondering if anyone here did dermal fillers to enhance their nose or chin before? It's basically a hyaluronic acid injection into the areas you want to restructure, it's not permanent and is known to be safe.

I just did mine for nose and chin, the effect immediately after the procedure was really good. I've got sharper chin and higher nose bridge. But after a week, my nose was swollen and now the effect is not that obvious anymore.

Any similar experience?

I don't think it's worth the pain and the money if it doesn't even last for more than a week...

it'll last for 1 year. The effect is still there, but subsided abit. The doc promised to do a touch-up for me, for free.

in theory it should last 6-12 months, depending on individual lifestyle, metabolism rate. But I've read somewhere that some people last only 1 month, which is quite expensive. It's around RM1200 per ml right?

Yeah, around there. I did mine at RM1500 for 1.5ml.
I wish it'll last longer though. I am still waiting for my nose to recover and i'll go back for my free 1ml touch-up.

Please use only FDA approved dermal fillers. They usually subside abit after a week so normally the doctor has to inform you beforehand.

And they last from 1-1.5 years depending on which area you inject.

Always ensure that you are getting a brand new syringe of HA fillers. even if it's for touch up, which normally introduces bacteria and carries a risk of infection.
