Yea, it's old news but i still wanna say it... you have to realise that the 3d market is rather small when you compare it to the architecture and engineering markets. In my opinion, the acquisition is about Studio Tools series of Alias, which compliment Autodesk's core market: the CAD tools. So, it's not so much about Maya or Max

and... the name Autodesk Media & Entertainment surely means something... right?
