Hmm usually I will get the tenant to pay coz they are the one staying there. Also it's my property,my rules ,my terms .if not happy can don't rent ...nobody forcing anyone. But forcing me as owner to pay maintenance but I don't even stay or use their facilities is too much. Btw, my tenants are from China..so they are ok with paying maintenance..

the 1 who blindly said jack up the rental to cover the maintenance fee probably not into the rental market I'd say.

there is 'market' rate, which is easy to check nowadays, so jacking up is almost impossible.

meaning, if can find a tenant who is willing to pay the maintenance fee, then u got a water fish really.
