Hahaha..if it is not working for you,I also dont want to try la.How bad is ur vitiligo?

The medicine does not react the same for everyone. Some treatment that works for you might not work for me too smile.gif. Mine is quite bad, leg, hand, body and face. Learn to live with it already.

Added on May 14, 2012, 2:28 pmThe best treatment so far that has very significant effect for me is:
1. To consume this tablets on alternate days.
http://behboddarou.com/images/meladinine.jpg . You must take the tablet at least 2 hours before you stand on the sun for 20 min to get the UV light.
2. Apply this cream 2 to 3 times everyday. http://www.drugexp.com/images/medicine/Der...ntment_25gm.jpg

Its quite effective. Here's my before and after picture.

After

You can visit Dr.Nathan at Asuntha Hospital. He treated me with this medication.

But then I had to change job, got busy and had to work at Sweden for few month during the winter. Now I'm back where I started smile.gif

My case is, I don't have a problem exposing my skin to sun. I don't feel hurt or anything. And the vitiligo is on my back and my upper arm. Here a picture of normal vitiligo person.

Wow... good transformation dude. May I know how much does it cost? And what do you mean by "you must take the tablet at least 2 hours before you stand on the sun for 20 min to get the UV light?". Mind to explain?

The tablet is RM64, the cream is about RM25 but I suggest you visit the skin specialist at Asuntha as I went there and took this treatment (later I practice it on my own).

"you must take the tablet at least 2 hours before you stand on the sun for 20 min to get the UV light?"
1. Take tablet 2 hours before your planned suntan. I used to take it at 6AM (if you have UV light, you can use that. As we stand on the sun for the UV light which activates the medication)
2. After two hours, expose the area you would like to re pigment to the sun for 20 min. I usually to it from 8AM to 8.20AM
3. Do this on alternate days.

better dont simply expose to sunlight , i mean sunlight at different time is different ,b4 10 am the sunlight is ok , after that is not ok

my personal experience with sunlight is that everytime i exposed to sunlight already , like go to the beach or blah blah , my vitiligo will spread ~

Added on July 14, 2012, 1:05 pm

after converted to MYR, it is approximately rm 900 plus ~

Added on July 14, 2012, 1:06 pmwent to Dr Koh in Pj uptown, he gave me this cream called elomet, was effective and my vitiligo around my lips gone , but 2 months later it came back, it is me too stress or what~

1. Subsequent visit is about RM100 to RM200.
2. Sun exposure must be early morning sun.
3. Do take note, modern medicine has various side effect. e.g liver problem. Sometimes i feel its better to just have Vitiligo rather then these side effect problem. That's why i decided to stop taking these modern medicine.

Last Sunday i visited http://www.samkkya.com.my/ its Ayurveda clinic in Bangsar. They have treated patient with Vitiligo before. Will update you guys if there are any positive response. But generally it will take about 3 months for any Vitiligo treatment to show improvement.

Hi,

I also got treatment from Dr.Nathan. The treatment is very effective, but it will take long time to cure & some times it may re-occur.

First few months Dr game me maladine tablet & beprosone cream. After that he gave me Triamcinalone injection & psoralen lotion (stay under sun for UV 30 mins after applying lotion for 20 mins).

After few more months he gave me folic acid tablets , some tablet for control gastric. Then Daivobet ointment

So overall 80% of my vitiligo spots cured, but as per my general physician - all these are steroids, most of the time these steroids will impact /damage other parts of human system. After all the medication my vitiligo spots reduced & diabetic has started sad.gif

So I stopped visiting Dr..nathan ...

Note: The treatment also bit expensive (At least for me !!!) is around RM200- RM300 per month.

From past 8 months I am using homeopathy medicine. So far no positive results. But good news is that there is no NEW spots smile.gif

FYI: my spots are on left side of face, lips, scalp, chest & lately in groins ... all are small spots except at groins

Regards,
KP

It has been almost 3 months since my visit to Ayurveda(http://www.samkkya.com.my/). I'm seeing significant re pigmentation on my hand. So far the treatment looks good price around RM100++ per visit. But you must be vegetarian for at least 3 months first.
