QUOTE(charlieboy61 @ Jun 28 2012, 01:35 PM) QUOTE(cheese12 @ Jul 1 2012, 03:39 AM) Developer say that because it is easy for them to get progressive payment approved quickly during contruction. During contruction of a project, loan lawyers are the one incharge to verify and authorise the bank to make the progressive payment. This can lead to loop hole as it is their own lawyer for this project and can close eye to approve anything for the bank to release money. This has happened in other projects before and I experienced myself. Im not telling Trinity as they have reputable track record but just sharing my previous experience Agree to your point since the purchaser bare the loan agreement, we should have rights to choose which lawyer we want. But what if the developer insist that we must take their panel lawyer for their loan agreement? Is this really stated in the offer letter upon paying the booking fee? Does the developer have the rights to terminate the offer letter or not giving DIBS?The bottom line is you can choose your own lawyers and best is to compare which lawyer firm offers the best rate since banks dont absorb legal fees. Regarding to your comment bank releasing money. Wouldn't the bank do some kind of verification before they really releasing the money to developers? |

QUOTE(Wk24 @ Jul 2 2012, 08:51 PM) I suppose for those who made booking during first day launching, this week should be the last week for them to sign SPA? Wondering who has presented 2 rejection letters to claim back the booking fee so far? Is that normal for banks to have quota? For OCBC that cannot accept due to quota full, can they issue rejection letter with such reason? |
