Thanks for the ETA
Hope I don't run into any problems with customs
*
I have ordered cubietruck, bananapi before this. Usually with package value <RM500, should not have issue with customs, furthermore Hardkernel declare it as "evaluation board", lagi no problem. Anyway, after 1 April with GST, situation may change. sad.gif

BTW, Odroid C1 idling temperature can easily reach up to 60 C degree.

How's the idle temp compared to banana pi?
*
Bananapi is about 35C. Cubietruck is 50C. Although both are using Allwinner A20 CPU, but bananapi cpu is mounted at the bottom of the board. Maybe this is the advantage. By touching on the plastic casing, bananapi is about the same as raspberrypi. Odroid is way too hot.

Decided to go with banana pi instead ..
Other than raspberrypi, we have now bananapi, orangepi, biggrin.gif

If you want to build a headless server with bananapi, I'd like to recommend you the debian image from here:

You can build a webserver, mail server, torrent server, download / ftp server, samba file server ...etc. Many users will be able to guide, if you can specify your interest.

i want to build dlna server for home. so my ps3 can access my movie file
*
If you search on raspberrypi.org, there are quite a few of step by steps setup guide on dlna server setup.
To access remote movie file, setup a samba file server should be good enough. Being said so, I don't use dlna to stream movie. Maybe you can share your experience after testing.
Anyway, raspberrypi lan port speed is only 100 Mbits, maybe an issue to full HD movie.

....My ISP is Maxis ADSL. Is it because Maxis blocked ports? I used port 80 for forwarding. When trying to access from my internal network, it redirects to my router login page.
*
I think Maxis assigned private ip and not public ip.

and run windows?
RPi is arm chipset, not intel x86 cpu. You can't run a windows as with pc desktop / notebook.

For RPi, all OS has to boot from u/SD card. Usually game is installed to the u/SD card.

No, this is not a x86 machine that you can install windows 10 os. But you can install linux os like raspbian and turn it to a torrent dowload box.

Should be quite straightforward. Good thing for raspberrypi, you can easily find installation / setup guide online.

Check these free materials from raspberrypi.org, a good reference to start with.

RPi most likely recognized this usb device as usb-storage instead of uas (USB Attached SCSI), due to lack of driver support as RPi only has usb 2.0. You can test out the same condition by connecting to windows 8/10 to see any different.

1) Already bought a Rasberry Pi 3B. Where to find a power adapter? Any link?
Just use your handphone charger (at least 5v1A) will be good enough. Nowadays, 5v2A adapter for handphone also very common.
