QUOTE(alucard89 @ Mar 3 2015, 02:45 PM) I have ordered cubietruck, bananapi before this. Usually with package value <RM500, should not have issue with customs, furthermore Hardkernel declare it as "evaluation board", lagi no problem. Anyway, after 1 April with GST, situation may change. BTW, Odroid C1 idling temperature can easily reach up to 60 C degree. This post has been edited by wsian: Mar 3 2015, 08:39 PM |

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Mar 3 2015, 10:12 PM) Bananapi is about 35C. Cubietruck is 50C. Although both are using Allwinner A20 CPU, but bananapi cpu is mounted at the bottom of the board. Maybe this is the advantage. By touching on the plastic casing, bananapi is about the same as raspberrypi. Odroid is way too hot. |

QUOTE(matiko95 @ Mar 29 2015, 02:32 PM) If you search on raspberrypi.org, there are quite a few of step by steps setup guide on dlna server setup. To access remote movie file, setup a samba file server should be good enough. Being said so, I don't use dlna to stream movie. Maybe you can share your experience after testing. Anyway, raspberrypi lan port speed is only 100 Mbits, maybe an issue to full HD movie. |

QUOTE(robindebean @ Aug 8 2016, 10:16 AM) Ahh, i see. Is this going to be complicated? did some google on it. looks pretty simple. not sure if is really that simple to do it. plan to get one and try it out. Should be quite straightforward. Good thing for raspberrypi, you can easily find installation / setup guide online. |

RPi most likely recognized this usb device as usb-storage instead of uas (USB Attached SCSI), due to lack of driver support as RPi only has usb 2.0. You can test out the same condition by connecting to windows 8/10 to see any different.

QUOTE(dannygoh @ Jul 26 2017, 04:31 PM) 1) Already bought a Rasberry Pi 3B. Where to find a power adapter? Any link? Just use your handphone charger (at least 5v1A) will be good enough. Nowadays, 5v2A adapter for handphone also very common. |
