anyone know how to use the pi to control leds and stuff via the GRIO ?

i am total noob here .. I need some basic guide here.

My HDMI cables are stiff, and heavy.. and it's heavier than the pi itself..

i do not have spare monitors , mouse and keyboard to play with it .

the cable will tilt the pi with the casing .. cry.gif

need to invent some solid casing.
