I found something "strange" about powering my RPi...

RPi is running Raspbian Wheezy Oct-28 version

My setup, I've a 2-port 2000mA USB power adapter that I power up a 4-port USB hub via mini-power socket...

The connection is USB Power Adapter to 4-port USB Hub power socket then mini-USB to the regular USB port on the RPi (without the micro-USB)..

The RPi seems to be running fine without needing any connection to the micro-USB connection...

I got the Asus USB-N10 Wireless adapter working when plugged into this 4-port hub.. 

This setup save me a micro-usb cable and much more simple power connection to the USB hub and RPi...

Thanks for the heads up... I did some readings and found out my board is rev 3 and the resetable fuse (D14) had been removed so back power is "okay" and moving forward, all future revisions will work with backpower...

Of course, I'm powering my Pi using a 2A USB Power Supply, those charger that can charge my iPad, not an ordinary USB hubs..

From my experience with E14, once you made the payment, someone will process the order locally and shipped out quite from SG quite fast if the stocks are in SG... in my case, I recv it within 2 days with avail stocks but the Pi case (without stocks in SG), it actually arrived one days later... so I was quite happy with their services..

The tracking number on the web ordering is not valid as it was their internal order number, just give them a call to get the tracking number you are really want to know...

E14 was free shipping for Oct & Nov without min orders...

Ordered mine Oct 31 and was told they will ship in about three weeks. That's next week.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
Also hoping my cables from eBay will arrive in time.

I hope the Gdex delivery man doesn't make another of his silent deliveries.
A few times now he comes by, thinks there is no one home and quietly zooms off.

I can confirm for malaysian orders, it will ship from lot 607 2nd floor back tower jln ss13/1k subang jaya. The instock status showed in *Singapore on all the item's information page may just be a computer thing.

If your page goes into processing, chances are that on Monday, we will see the website updated to reflect 3-4000 Pis being available. Get ur trigger finger ready people who have yet to order or want more.

For those new users, be sure to get a 2A USB power supply & a USB hub, I found one pretty good one at All IT Mall for RM29 with 2 USB outlet, green hexagon line design in colour with 1, 2 or 4 USB outlets...

For USB hubs, you can use any type that can accept power input (usually very small input socket to USB ).. so all yr accessories like wifi, usb hdd, usb bluebooth can just draw power from the powered hub instead of the RPi...

what's PSU1 PSU2?

53C is with the heat sink installed or without? my Rpi just arrived today, can't wait to go back to my home town and start toying around with it.

sorry to ask, but how do you use the bigger heatsink (100mmx100mm) with the Rpi?

Pi owners could have a TT session and build one together?

Ordered my Raspberry B+ ... hopefully arriving tomorrow!
