yes it works fine.
just make sure you use case that allows IR signal to get thouugh since the receiver is mounted inside the case

Thanks for the update, somemore it's cheaper, I'll probably get one from element14.

Element14 needs to wait for 4 weeks, they dont have stock in Malaysia.

RS only need 4 days.

I reckon you'll need to get a HDMI to VGA converter. There's not direct connector.

You can find it at element14 & RS-Online website or Digital Mall PJ too.

Anyone has experience interfacing i2c with Raspberry Pi? Mine doesn't detect my MPU-6050! Help! Not sure if it's my soldering or what. I followed the guide from http://ozzmaker.com/i2c/

i attached vcc to pin 1, gnd to pin6, scl to pin 5 and sda to pin 3

Just wondering if anyone is using their raspberry pi as a download/torrent machine [not sure if its appropriate to ask it in LYN. If it's not please tell me and i will delete this post.]

If you are using it as a download/torrent machine, can you tell me what storage you are using? I'm currently using a 1tb WD elements. Thinking of getting something about 2-3TB in size, powered hard disk. Would a WD Mybook be good?
