A china LED strips,
They claim that they can plug directly into Malaysia power socket, is it true?
传统的12V贴片需要配一个硕大的的直流变压器,且一个变压器只能接5米而言;而翰源升级款LED灯带只需要一个小小转直流插头即可接入220V电源,一个插头可以接100米,且安装十分便利,节省了成本。

coz as I know, usual led strips need to connect to a big device only can use in malaysia.
beside, it is make for 220v power socket, can malaysia use it directly?
malaysia power socket voltage is around 220v-240v?

Thanks~

most LEDs are 12V, and must go through a driver. This strip that you bought from china, what is the length, 5 meter? for only 34yuan,very very cheap. you need the driver(transformer) (http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=10614550206). did you buy this? if not cannot work at all. don't plug directly into AC240v, sure blow. rclxub.gif
btw, what u intend to fix this, up in your false ceiling? very nice effect with warm white

The traditional 12V patch needs with a huge DC transformer, and a transformer can only be connected to 5 m; John Source upgraded LED lights with only need a small DC plug you can access to 220V power supply, a plug can take up to 100 meters, and the installation is very convenient, and cost savings.

See the blue word, it says working voltage is 220V
