I saw some post in internet that steelseries qck heavy cant be hit by a liquid item is this true ? cause it says it will damage the mousepad.
*
I think cloth mouse pads can wash with water no problem. I even washed my Qck+ with water, hand shampoo and brushed it with toothbrush (LOL). I used hand shampoo because its mild.

And I heard that cloth mouse pads cannot touch soft drinks, especially mountain dew.

BTW can anyone give some opinion on the SS Sensei? I plan to upgrade my logitech mx518 to it. Currently using Qck+.

After some google search seems like many people state that Sensei has some positive acceleration when using with cloth pads.
Does that affect much on gaming?
Results from my googling I found out people says that good players prefer mouse with no accel. But then, the Steelseries sponsored players are using Sensei with Qck series pad. hmm.gif

thnking of buying either sensei or sensei raw. What is the difference between them? and is siberia v2 frost blue worth buying? thanks. =D

Sensei have changeable lights, LCD on below for changing profiles on the fly, metal-like surface.

Both using the same sensor (correct me if wrong), same shape.

Sensei Raw has more choice like Glossy, Rubberized, Tyloo, Frost Blue.

So far any problems encountered with the sensei? Durability? Double clicking, paint peeling ? Too bad only the sensei raw got the glossy paint. Which one is a good buy ? Raw vs sensei? Are the extra features worth ?
*
IMO its worth the price. I get my Sensei on 12 May so I am still a new user of Sensei. So far no problem since it is new.

If you visits to cybercafes or uses different computer frequently, its change profile on-the-fly feature can help you. You can preset the profiles and then change it on-the-fly without need of driver on the computer after you saved your profile on the mouse.
Sensitivity, 3 of the lights, those exact- technologies are saved on each profile.
I didn't visit cybercafes or uses different computers but I share my computer with my brother, I use a slower CPI than him and of course different colour settings on the mouse. So changing profiles was useful for me.

Other than that, the 3 customizable lights rclxms.gif

I swapped to Sensei after 3 and a half years of Logitech MX518 servicing me.
Both mouse was quite good for me. At first I was not used to its shape, after some time I slowly get used to the shape of Sensei and I was able to perform better with the Sensei. tongue.gif

the sensei?  hmm.gif
weird, not a user report such issue until now
i thought you guys were referring the raw version, didnt know the original sensei got such issue
planning to rma it?

I think its not a defect unit of Sensei because it seems that the hardness of left click and right click were purposely tuned like that.

It was comfortable for me anyway brows.gif

my top layer abit peel off already leh... but very dirty ;(
*
Well, my Qck's top layer is still intact after wash. blush.gif

I do use some hand shampoo to wash it, but I think the cloth pad should avoid from strong chemicals.

After few years of use my Qck's top layer does not peel off, so I think it is a quite durable cloth pad tongue.gif

My Razer Goliathus also peeled off at the side, but it doesn't become worse after I wash it. biggrin.gif

You can set the desired CPI to both LED profile. So the LED will indicate you which CPI you are currently using.
