Lol. RAW is RM299 bro, not 200.
As for Sensei MLG, I'm considering that over the RAW. Or maybe Fnatic edition. 100+ RM difference but a huge difference in performance. Second thoughts about RAW. |

QUOTE(zandara @ Jun 30 2012, 11:39 AM) I don't see there will be a different performance since both had the same sensor. Yeah, I don't look at the LCD on my Xai. Just disappointed with the number of profiles available, only 1. I was actually referring to the ARM Processor which is missing from the Raw.LCD is not that important |

QUOTE(protectsj @ Jul 1 2012, 03:51 AM) thx for telling me the price for da RAW Xai and Sensei are using Omron switches. Actually now Omron switch are pretty common in gaming mouse already, you can double confirm by visiting the websites and click on specifications. If I am not mistaken, usually cheaper mice does not use Omron switches. any comment on no-frill level 1? and any1 know price for kinzu v2 or kinzu v2 pro? as i know the diff btw these 2 is v2 pro having grossy surface + omron gaming grade button.. actuary i found it......er... the mouse i using now.. razer krait (which entry level also..) cost like rm9x ..even with omron button switch on it ,and ss old kinzu optical and v2 doesnt seems like having the gaming grade buttom.. and.. i believe v2 pro is not cheap also ? and which of the SS mouse is not using omron switch? as i not realy into its DPI or wat.. i fussy about the responsiveness of thier clicking only..**as i know.. sensei/xai those not disclosing or telling they have the omron switch.. so.. i dont think they got..**correct me if i;m wrong haha these thing are so expensive, would nid price info to make some compare and decide hah If you want a value for money mouse, I suggest the Xai. At 249, the performance of the Xai is excellent, maybe old but old is gold. Does not have the customisation features like the Sensei, but it is worth buying. I once placed it together with my Siberia in a plastic, ended up with a huge scratch This post has been edited by andrewtho: Jul 1 2012, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(H3LLKEEPER @ Jul 2 2012, 09:10 PM) applies to most people It depends. Some optical sensors are good, some are terrible. The one on the KANA is horrible, I still dont know why i went to segi college last time for the promotional thingy and they asked me optical or laser i say optical they say not good -.- |

QUOTE(H3LLKEEPER @ Jul 2 2012, 10:37 PM) isnt horrible till say cannot use I've used the DA before, not bad actually. But the Kana, very hard for me to do a proper drag shot with a sniper scope , some tracking issues there. Kinzu, still okay as well. The first time I used the Kana and this problem came up, I was like.. Oh boy, I'm bound to suffer. True enough. Design is brilliant, not much of the performance judging by the huge price tag. I would recommend one to add another 50 bucks and get the Xai.but at that price its overpriced i guess the reason is that people would buy it due to the design... who knows |

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Jul 5 2012, 09:57 PM) I dont agree with this statement. It's up to personal preference actually. Honestly, I buy SS products is because of the design and quality. I like paying for quality products, pay for what you get. I dont mind spending on something that offers me performance, quality and good after-sales service. I think the distributor, Play Interactive are really good in terms of after sales service because they provide RMA claims for defected products and it took roughly 1 week, which is quite efficient for me. One day, when you invest in any Steelseries product, you will fall in love with it. Investment... sometimes its worth the risk |

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Jul 5 2012, 10:51 PM) I only got the mousepad which is one of the cheapest in the store lol I am a student too. I remember purchasing my very first Steelseries product, the 4H. Soon I upgraded to Siberia V2, then my passion for SS products grew and eventually followed by Xai, Sensei, 6Gv2 and various mousepads. I usually save my allowance and accumulate them before I make a purchase. As long as the product is long lasting, it is worth it.I really like the features offered by the Siberia V2 with USB but spending about RM450 for a headphone? Moreover, I'm only a student and can't bear to spend some much money in a headphone lol Added on July 5, 2012, 11:42 pm QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 5 2012, 11:25 PM) heavy usage also obviously nowhere near the rated 50 million lifetime... Usually Cherry switches are quite durable. Tried taking out the caps and check for any blockage or could be a switch defect.i do alot of ctrl-tab, ctrl-w, ctrl-t, ctrl-a, ctrl-s sometimes the ctrl stuck but look ok, then i wonder why certain window pop up etc...have to press the ctrl key again to release...zzz... QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 5 2012, 11:57 PM) hmm, its not the cap thats getting stuck...most likely its the electrical contacts below the cherry switch...whoever got more technical knowledge can chip in here can try the Mech keyboard thread, alot of knowledgeable people there cos when it happens, the key looks like its in normal position, but its activated. |

QUOTE(doggydogg @ Jul 6 2012, 01:13 AM) lol i fell in love with my 7h, at the same time fell out of love with it too. within the period of 6 months, RMA 3x. Right cups keep having no sound issue. Same goes to 2 of my other friends who owns one. Sure enough RMA fast n good, but what good is it if keep on kena RMA? What happens if warranty over? D: I have a friend who had issues with his 7H as well. I heard its the first batch of 7H seems to have faulty cups issue, not sure if its true. But 7H is the most problematic of the lot, compared to 5H and Siberia V2. |

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Jul 6 2012, 05:15 PM) Whats the difference between siberia v2 and v1 until the price difference is RM200? v1 = 40mm driver unitI'm afraid i'll run over the cable of the siberia v2 and it's dead.. Added on July 6, 2012, 5:18 pmAnd it the design looks almost the same with my current cheap headphones, have large earcups with the band which adjusts the tightness of the headphones.. v2 = 50mm driver unit And the band does not adjust the tightness, it fits by itself. |
