QUOTE(andrewtho @ Jun 16 2013, 05:44 PM) Colored as in limited edition ones? Like Tyloo/SK Gaming/NAVI etc? Thinner than the QCK Heavy by 2mm, the QCK Limited Edition ( I like calling it that) is 4mm thick. Perfect thickness. Same quality, some say smoother but seems the same to me. yes I using ehome editionAnyway, anyone interested in the Steelseries SX? Hard surface. Saw it on Heavyarm's website, the price is sx aluminium pad. but still damn expensive for a mousepad. QUOTE(dannykhoo17 @ Jun 16 2013, 09:35 PM) Yeap.. Navi look nice but expensive lolol. Btw I saw ppl sell mousepad with just a transparent plastic. Isit ori from ss ? confirm not ori... no news on ss releasing transparent padif coloured pad have no effect. I doubt plain pad will. use a dust blower blow the sensor see if it fixed |

SteelSeries Sensei RAW Review
Introduction Sensei RAW had been out in the market for a while. Recently they released the Frost Blue theme for their devices. This mouse is the same as the original sensei RAW just that it is themed to suit the Frost Blue look of the Siberia v2 Frost Blue. Let’s get on to the review Technical Specifications Frames per second: 12000 Inches per second: 150 Mega pixels per second: 10.8 Counts per inch: 90 – 5670 Maximum acceleration: 30 G Sensor data path: True 16 bit Lift distance: ~2 mm Maximum polling: 1000 Hz Packaging SteelSeries always had a minimalist design packaging for their mice. The packaging is made of thick cardboard. You can be sure that the mouse inside is free from any damage during shipping; nothing special to expect inside the box. It’s just the mouse itself packed with a SteelSeries sticker and a quick start guide. Design SteelSeries had kept this design for quite some time now. Ever since they invented the Xai, nothing much had changed ever since. Their flagship mice such as the Sensei also packed with the same design, but the Frost Blue RAW has a glossy top with grey rubber side. The mouse has 2 side buttons each side. Since this is designed to be an ambidextrous only on side of buttons can be used. The bottom of the mouse has 3 big Teflon feet that can last you quite long. Hardware The mouse is packed with an Avago A9500 sensor with DPI maxed at 5670 with a weird increment of 30. The mouse DOES NOT have onboard memory so keep this in mind. The mouse have blue led lights on the DPI indicator, scroll wheel and logo; only the light intensity and the pulsation speed can be changed, nothing much fancy here. The mouse features Omron mouse switches which offers great tactile feedback when clicked. Software The customization software has a VERY simple user friendly interface. The first panel is button mapping. Here you can set macros for your mouse. Macros can be easily recorded. The second tab is to adjust the DPI and polling rate settings. As I said it offers a weird increment of 30 dpi. You can also adjust how the lighting looks here. The third tab is where you save your profiles in your computer. YES! In your computer. The mouse doesnt have any memory. Lastly the fourth tab is to measure the activity of your mouse. Real World Usage I have a single 24-inch monitor. My DPI is fixed for 1350 low and 1800 high which is sensitive enough to me. For those who prefer a very sensitive mouse, the mouse has high enough DPI for that. The mouse ships with angle snapping off so that it won’t interfere with your mouse movement. Acceleration is negligible. Shape is great for me. It can last me 7 hours and more of straight gaming without any feeling of fatiguing. The scroll wheel isn't that solid, it feels a bit loose. Conclusion SteelSeries liked to keep their mouse simple and powerful. The Sensei RAW is no exception. But it retails at a hefty RM329 price tag. Downside of this mouse is that it could have on-board memory. I also wished it could have a customization for lift off distance. This post has been edited by H3LLKEEPER: Jun 28 2013, 11:50 PM |

QUOTE(iOrange @ Jul 6 2013, 01:38 AM) hi ts More detailed sound..whats the advantage of using gaming headphone? im thinking of buying the siberia v2 but then the game i play frequently is d2 only does it worth my money? thanks Like you can hear wind walk when the hero is just at the corner of the fog of war But its not necessary to have a gaming headphone for dota Its more towards fps gaming But for sound quality siberia v2 is not bad |
