Sorry to be dumb to ask this question, but can anyone tell me what actually is this 1MB stands for?

is it the sum of u/ and d/l speed?

cos i think i get only 30%-40% of the advertised speed; which is 384kbps.

Well, guess wht? i am payin' RM88 for the service. you bet it's slow here... me in KL area somemore (OUG).
think i better call up tmNut to fix this problem.

do u mean the two mini PC icon down right the desktop? it shows 100.0Mbps, but i tot tht's the ethernet adapter's speed? i'd like to check as u told but i hv no idea how.
