For the custom paper, i not sure cos i never fill any custom paper just only paid for tax. Thanks for your reply. How much is the tax that I need to pay?Added on June 3, 2012, 11:46 pm QUOTE(neoechun @ Jun 3 2012, 01:20 AM) Thanks... but I was lucky. QUOTE(geeamino @ Jun 3 2012, 11:55 PM) Tax is 10% if your item that's over RM500. So if your item is RM700, then it's RM70. If your item is RM300 then you won't get taxed. But really, sometimes its kinda random. But what if my item is below RM500? In fact, I intend to order some Minichamps F1 diecast from overseas. But after knowing all these taxing stuffs. I hold my plan!! Total should be lower than RM500 including shipping.Well, does it tax on item by item or by total value? What is the procedure of paying tax? Something like appointing Poslaju as my 'middle-man'? BTW, what if I buy those items while travelling overseas and bring it back home in Malaysia? In this case, do I need to be taxed? |

QUOTE(Sauron76 @ Jun 4 2012, 12:35 AM) Does that mean if my items priced value is lower than RM500 is tax-free? Anyway, thanks a lot for your guidance. I think I'll search around for Minichamps F1 diecast rather than buying from overseas.Thank you so much!! Hope you had a nice weekend. Good night~~ |

QUOTE(SC79 @ Jun 4 2012, 06:10 PM) the tax is by total value but sometimes is randomly select..Last month i bought 2 diecasts cost RM1k +- .. there's no tax occur, the postmen send it direct to my door steps (lucky me)..hehe Really lucky! What is the size of your diecast? Btw, is it true that if total value of the diecast is below RM500 will not be taxes? There is no need appointing anyone as middle man, u can just go to the kastam counter collect ur stuff. pay the tax and get a receipt.. |
