IMO, this was due to PERATURAN STANDARD KESELAMATAN BAGI MAINAN KANAK-KANAK/ SAFETY STANDARTS REGULATIONS FOR CHILDREN'S TOYS, which under MINISTRY OF DOMESTIC TRADE,
CO-OPERATIVES AND CONSUMERISM (KPDNKK) control. Maybe due to no proper/effective communication in between KPDNKK & our Royal Customs -where some of our customs officer misundertand/confuse what kind/type of toys need to get import permit from KPDNKK. For example our diecast/resin model mainly collectors items which not intended for children under 14years old which shall not consider as toys, so shouldn't need to get import permit. But some of our fellow Customs office misinterpret it as toys, so your parcel get hold. So it really depend on lucks that the custom officer in charge interpret your parcel correctly, if not u have to waste your time to fill up the KPDNKK forms, and to wait for KPDNKK to review your parcel whether need permit or not, then only the Custom release your shipment.

So far, do u guys have any diecast import from overseas get hold by customs where need to get import permit from MINISTRY OF DOMESTIC TRADE,CO-OPERATIVES AND CONSUMERISM (KPDNKK) after the incident encountered by low.88 in early April ?
