Draw it out.

It is easy to convert to 3P too. Cause each 1 have own db and wire. So each phase is connect to each db box and wire.

What is the suggested brand for 16 mm cable and DB box?

Just get the local sirim approve wire if you worry. DB box is preety std plastic box for home. Unless you choose the ugly but tough metal box for industries.

A/C, instant water heater (IWH) and may be kitchen point (if u use high voltage oven): RM200-300/point - Direct 2.5mm cable from DB box.

Others normal lighting point and 13A socket point: RM30-50/point 1.5mm cable

Standard DB box+installation: RM500-750

On-off switches+installation: RM10-15/each
*Some buy their own switches. Then cheaper

If u want wireman to install ceiling fan, IWH and lighting: RM10-30 each item

*You have to tell where do you want to add or relocate the points... put x on your house floor plan.

*Usually, to cement/plaster the hacking lines of wall is wet construction worker job. They do it better than wireman. But if your wireman is not from same reno constructor, reno constructor may charge a little (<RM300 for whole house).

Usually, condo single phase: 3 AC (1HP) + Fridge 24hrs +2 IWH should be ok (quite MAX ald)...

Some may be more expensive. But again wiring is like plumbing and piping, you want to get it done once and forever. Quality wire (pure copper cable not china one), punctuality and total quality of work is important. we should not over bargain.

Each country have only 1 dept incharge for this quality approving. Malaysia is sirim, Japan is jis, German is tuv, ce etc.

So there is no jkr, pkns, mpsj etc approve of this quality thing.

Even sirim std is not high. But better than nothing.

Would like to correct your statement,

SIRM is a testing body that test a product and certified it to be in compliance with some international or local standard such as MS, IEC, IEE, BE etc. This is same for TuV, CE. JIS have their own standard and test lab.

JKR have a list of approved product known as EMAL (Electrical Material Approval List). Refer link below, this list is not available to public, only those contractor, manufacturer/suppliers for JKR job will have. It does not show on the product. The JKR certificate is required for material intended to be used in government project oversee by JKR.
