Guys sorry just wanna ask. How often do you all change Spark Plugs? and any recommendation on brands to be use?

recently just finish service. changed Shell HX7 .. suddenly felt loss of power. Previous was using Castrol or maybe it is still early to tell. Was thinking to add X1R in to the engine .. is it good? or any better recommendation of additives?
