Steel extractor won't rust so quickly, my dear friend. It's galvanized for a reason.

And for chrome extractors, they provide better flow (given that the whole extractor is chromed inside out, not just outside for aesthetic purposes) as chromed surface is smoother than other surfaces (galvanized steel, aluminum, ceramic, etc.).

I haven't checked the insides of these extractor, but I'm pretty sure a real, fully chromed extractor would cost a bomb.

Didn't say galvanized, but I don't know any steel extractor that's not galvanized nowadays.

Mana mau cari? If extractors are made of steel and only steel, not stainless or galvanized, it'll rust within a day or two after installation.

Supply and demand. If there's no demand for it, u think ppl would make those steel extractors?

So that's why ppl don't use steel extractors. Stainless steel extractors are noisier. Galvanized ones are less noisy. Ceramic coated ones reduces heat released into the engine bay by retaining/insulating the heat in the extractor itself only.
