Allo guys....
I joined LYN long time edy but only realize this thread exist.
(I only go to Hobbies thread sweat.gif)
Anyway, I'm one of the proud Saga LMST 2006 Edition owner (Sunset Orange).
Last hari raya (around August 2010), otw balik kampung at Jerteh there, suddenly my timing belt putus one (that time donno yet).
Then I just left it at the road side. Later that night, cops call me said that my car kena pecah and some of spare parts missing. sweat.gif
I went back and check, got a lot of parts missing especially interior.
Handbrake knob gone, gear knob gone, coin plate gone, radio/cd player gone, rear speaker gone, a lot la gone. cry.gif
So now it manage to run again after changing rod and make top-overhaul (due to snapped timing belt).
And now I am here to know more about my Saga. In order to perfecting it again.

Hope otai2 here can give me guide and can show me @ give me info on where to find all the parts cheap2 @ where can I seek for parts replacement instead of buying ori parts.

1st time - 2010 Oct
Rear Left - humming sound damn loud, like a big bike following you. 1st timer here, went to Sec 13 Sumber Auto to complain, 1st time check they said nothing wrong. After asked my friend, confirmed is wheel bearing problem. Went back again and demand to test drive on highway so can reach 90km/h to get the noise more obvious. Finally i managed to claim under warranty.

2nd time - 2011 Nov
Front Left - very familiar humming sound come back again, at beginning, i thought is the rear left because the noise exactly the same as previous incident. This time, i have changed my SC to USJ one, sent in and check confirmed the Front Left wheel bearing problem BUT the Rear Left also started to have problem because can feel the slight vibration. Since warranty just over, I replaced the Front Left 1st since the condition is more severe.

3rd time - 2011 end Nov
Rear Left - Based on the 2nd time diagnostic, the technician already said Rear Left also got slight problem. End of Nov, the humming sound became louder and louder. No budget, leave it 1st.

4th time - 2011 early Dec
Front Left - 1 month after i replaced the Front Left Wheel Bearing, In early Dec, i travelled back to Johor, half way, my wife hear some strange noise from the front and the noise increased while drive faster, noise reduce if we slow down. Half way in highway, damn scary. To prevent any big accident, i drove like turtle on highway. At 1st, i thought "shxt" don't tell me is the shaft problem. Early in the morning, we sent in to Honda Muar for checking. After test drive, the SA suspect is the wheel bearing noise. After diagnostic, they confirmed is the Front Left giving the problem because when they turn the wheel (without tyre), i can feel the vibration from Front left but not Front right. If there is shaft problem, both sides also will vibrate.

Straight away i called the USJ Honda and screw them up side down because i just changed 1 month ago how come worn out so fast. The Manager asked me not to change anything in Honda Muar and drive back to KL, he guarantee is safe to drive. Next day after we back to KL, i sent in to USJ Honda and they again confirmed is the new wheel bearing giving the strange noise. Again, this time is not humming sound but more like "kluk kluk kluk", the faster i drive the faster the noise is. They replaced a new wheel bearing for me FOC. Best part is the manager told me, City, Jazz and Civic are prone to have Wheel Bearing problem, can you believe it????

5th time - Same day right after they replaced again new wheel bearing.
After they replaced, no "kluk kluk kluk" noise and everything is fine (except the Rear Left one still having humming sound). After we drove from USJ to IKEA via LDP, the noise started to show up again. After few days driving from Kelana Jaya to Cyberjaya, the "kluk kluk kluk" noise became louder and louder. I called up the USJ Honda Manager again and he is very surprise, now he suspect other part having problem and caused problem to wheel bearing and he want me to send in my car for few days to perform thorough diagnostic to identify the root cause.

So i will send in my car next Wed and see what is the root cause.

Other than Wheel bearing issues, a lot of ratheling noise from speaker board, complaints numerous times, after 1 days after they fixed, the noise come back again. The sound insulation is so bad that i can't enjoy music while driving.

Seriously, i am very very tire to deal with all these problems, even my 8 years old Vios never give me any major problem.

Yes, i am tired! I decided to trade in this stupid Civic and get other cars and no more Honda!

Bro,

Feels for u...totally agreed, my prev honda city 2006 are fulls of issues...steering rack/wiper motor/...etc..etc...

Gave up and sold it for a conti which is much more reliable and even my 2005's Korean is soo reliable without any issues till today

I don't buy this saying that Conti/Korean are not reliable stuffs...I'm suffering with my prev Japs, reliable?????
